Bed, crate or cosy corner… where does your dog feel safest?

Dolly here never fails to make me laugh! Every groom is a race against time to get her groomed before she starts dozing off 💤 And her favourite place? My cosy crate corner, where she can snuggle up and relax.

I absolutely love my open plan salon however having a designated safe space for dogs is such an important part of responsible grooming🐾

Whether I’m sanitising my work area between appointments, preparing for my next groom, accommodating an owner who’s running late or safely settling a dog who arrives early, having a secure, comfortable space for dogs to relax is essential💛

Of course, every dog is different… If a dog is too big for my crate, feels more comfortable staying close to me, that’s absolutely fine. I always work around each dog’s individual needs to ensure they feel safe, settled and comfortable🐾
