Farm Fun Day is nearly here! 🎉🐴
Save the date — Saturday 5th September! We’re getting ready for a brilliant day of family fun here at the farm, and we’d love for you to join us. 🌾
There’ll be hot food and drinks, live music, tractor and trailer rides, face painting, vintage fairground games, ferret activities, our dog show and plenty more to enjoy throughout the day!
It’s the perfect excuse to bring the family, meet some of our fantastic local businesses and enjoy a day out at the farm. 🐶🚜

💙 A SPECIAL WILDLIFE SPOTTING AT THE FARM! 💙
We’re incredibly lucky to have such a diverse range of wildlife here at Whipley Manor Farm, and recently we had a particularly exciting visitor—or rather, visitors! 👀🐦
Kingfishers have recently been spotted on the farm, and a bird ecologist was lucky enough to catch and ring one of them during a recent visit.
Even more excitingly, the kingfisher was a young bird, which means they have successfully bred this year! 🎉
It’s fantastic to know that these beautiful birds are not only visiting the farm, but are successfully breeding here too. 💙
Moments like this are a lovely reminder of the incredible wildlife that can be found right on our doorstep—and why protecting and encouraging natural habitats is so important. 🌿🐦

We’ve got two lovely events coming up at the farm this September, and we’d love for you to join us!
🚜 Plough Match – Sunday 13th September, from 9am
Come along and watch the traditional ploughing action as competitors take to the fields. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some countryside entertainment and see some impressive machinery and skills in action!
☕ Macmillan Coffee Morning – Friday 18th September
Join us for a cuppa, a slice of cake and a chance to get together for a great cause. Every donation helps support the vital work of Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

🐾 FARM FUN DAY DOG SHOW! 🐾 5th September
Calling all dog lovers! 🐶 Our Farm Fun Day is just around the corner, and one of the highlights of the day will be our fun-filled Dog Show, with plenty of chances for your four-legged friends to take home a rosette (and maybe even a prize! 🏆).
There are 8 classes to enter:
🐶 Best Puppy/Junior – under 18 months
🐾 Best Veteran – 7 years & over
🏡 Dog the Judge Would Like to Take Home
🎀 Prettiest Bitch
🐕 Most Handsome Male
👧 Junior Handler – 7–14 years
❤️ Best Family Dog
🏆 Best in Show
Entries will be taken in the Animal Feed Store from 11am, with judging beginning at 12pm, led by Josh Levi.
Entry is £2.50 per dog for each of the first two classes, with each additional class just £2.
Whether your dog is a show-stopper, a lovable family favourite or simply has the personality to win over the judge, we’d love to see them there! 🐕💚
🏆 Rosettes and prizes are up for grabs!
