Our Christmas Client Evening is back – with another twist!
Following the success of last year, we’re returning to The Queens Hall Theatre in Cranbrook for another evening of equine education, Christmas cheer… and perhaps a little more entertainment than you’d normally expect from a veterinary client evening! 😂
🌟 PLUS – A SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE! 🌟😂
This year Reuben will be joined by farrier Dave Sanders. Yes, we’ve managed to persuade a farrier to turn up at a specified place AND time – so frankly, the evening is already shaping up to be something of a Christmas miracle! 😂 Alongside the fun, our vets will be getting serious about two really useful topics:
🐴 Lameness – what’s making your horse lame?
🩺 The Horse Health MOT
🐚 How well do you really know what’s “normal” for your horse?
There will, of course, be complimentary teas and coffees, festive mulled wine and small bites, plus our charity raffle with veterinary service giveaways.

POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT TRAINING 😀

EVERYONE does things differently but do you wonder how “we” work when backing horses/ponies who come to us? … Well we’re going to show you with a step by step guide to the first steps …

Obviously we have worked with Elsa over multiple sessions to get her to where she is now.

Meet Kokaine !!

Kokaine is actually my own personal horse (I didn’t name him!!) 🐴 he is an Irish Sports Horse, 16.3 & a smidge & and an ex - show jumper. Kokaine is a proper machine who I absolutely adore, a total gentle giant he is now enjoying a much quieter life with me (& keeping his feet firmly on the ground with me !!) I .. like probably most of you am so busy with with work/life balance & children that I have asked Naomi to help me bring Kokaine back into steady work after Just retiring my heart horse Trooper an Irish cob who has done his job & will now enjoy a life of Riley with me here at Rosebarr. My aim is to do some dressage with Kokaine next year so It’s time to get him going again
