Angus and Polly have been with Snooty Dog almost from the very start of my journey and until recently, they've been out with me every single day. These days, they're enjoying a well-earned change of routine, joining me Monday to Thursday.

But these two have done so much more than just come along for a walk. Over the past year, they've helped me enormously by welcoming new dogs into the gang and showing them the ropes. Their calm, familiar presence has been invaluable when introducing new pupsters, helping them settle in and find their feet.

They never applied for the job and it certainly wasn't part of the plan, but somewhere along the way they've earned themselves the unofficial title of my "Stooge Dogs"! 😂🐾

They're worth their weight in gold and I'm not sure they even realise just how much they've helped me along the way.

So, a little shout-out to Angus and Polly today.

Two very special members of the Snooty Dog gang who have played a huge part in helping me build the little dog-walking business I have today.

I couldn't be prouder of them, and I really can't thank them (and their hoomans) enough. 🥰🐾♥️

Well, look who joined a group walk today! 🐾🥰

I’m so very proud of this girl. Lilly is such a gentle soul and I’ve never doubted her around other dogs. . . . it’s been the van that’s been the hurdle!

We’ve been working on little solo trips for a while now and whilst she’s still not keen on getting in the van 🤣, she absolutely loved the destination and spending time with the gang.

One little step at a time . . . and today was a big one for Lilly.

Here’s to many more adventures together, sweetheart. Thank you for trusting me . . . that means more than you know. 🥰🐾♥️

What a fantastic day it's been today!

First up, we had Dolly showing young Sadie how things should be done . . . I'm not sure that was such a good idea, but they did have fun 🤣.

Next, Mulan was introduced to the boys, Koby and Oscar . . . new friendships in the making!

And finally, a little update on Lilly . . . yes, she's STILL getting in the van (albeit with plenty of encouragement! 😂), but she's now been off lead too!

Considering how far we've come with Lilly, I'm absolutely delighted with her progress. I'm hoping to introduce her to a group walk very soon, so watch this space!🤞

It's days like these that remind me just how rewarding this job can be. 🥰🐾♥️

But what you don't see is the selective hearing, the dead bird incident, someone stealing someone else's ball and all the other shenanigans that go on behind the scenes!

There's never a dull moment when you've got a van full of pupsters with their own ideas about how an adventure should go!

I nearly gave up on a dog, and I'm so pleased I didn't. Last week, I learned something really special, and it reminded me just how important trust is. Every dog in my care needs to trust me, but trust isn't something you can rush. It takes time, patience and understanding. And it works both ways.

Getting to know each dog, understanding their quirks and what makes them tick, is a huge part of what I do. But building a relationship with their owner is just as important . . . it's a joint effort. I'm learning about their dog, they're getting to know me and together we can work towards what's best for their pupster.

It was a lovely reminder that sometimes, just when you're questioning everything, things can change for the better.

And goodness, am I glad I didn't give up. ❤️🐾

Happy Belated Anniversary to my hubby and biggest supporter!

Today, I'm swapping dog walking for a rare treat . . . lunch out with my favourite hooman!

Phil has been my biggest supporter since starting Snooty Dog, putting up with all the dog chat, the busy days, the endless planning and probably more photos of dogs than any husband should have to endure! 😂

So today, it's time to put the pupsters to one side and enjoy a little time together.

Friday means an early finish! 😁

Fridays are my quieter days and quite often I only have one group . . . and I'm certainly not complaining! 😂

Before becoming a dog walker, I only worked Monday to Thursday, so it's actually rather nice to have an early finish after a busy week.

I don't know about you, but I'm definitely ready for the weekend, with plenty of cuddles from my two hooligans.

It was so lovely having Mulan out with Angus and Polly again today!

Watching Mulan having the best time off lead, running around and enjoying her freedom, really does make you smile.

It was hilarious to see Polly happily chasing after her, whilst Angus was busy enjoying his favourite pastime . . . chewing on sticks! 🤪

I love seeing them all enjoying their walks in their own little ways. Every dog has their own personality and it’s such a joy getting to know them and seeing their happy faces out and about.

Another walk full of fun, wagging tails and happy doggy moments! 🥰🐾♥️

I'm not sure who's leading who here, but there's certainly no shortage of personality in this little gang!

Sadie had the pleasure of Angus and Polly’s company on her adventure and they welcomed her back with open paws.
