Whilst I feel so lucky to have found this beautiful site for Woodlands I can not help but think in Autumn Mother Nature has her way of making me pay for the pleasure.
Every year in Autumn she shakes these stunning Woodland trees showering the site in a constant blanket of multicoloured leaves.
Twice a week I spend time racking them up and piling them behind the carpark area fence where many small creatures including field mice and hedgehogs make themselves a cozy winter retreat.
I always feel a sense of achievement which is short lived as a steady shower of leaves float down onto the newly cleared areas.
