The importance of home visits, meet and greets and trail runs makes for a smooth boarding experience for both the dogs and myself. Please if I ever refuse a request it is for the happiness and safety of your dog and mine. Not every dog is suited to be together with lots of other dogs and my boys and the dogs in my care are my top priortiy.

🌴🐾 It’s that time of year again! 🐾🌴

The time when I get to take my grandchildren away on their holidays and make some lovely memories together ❤️

But, of course, there’s one very important question… who looks after my boys while I’m away? 🐶🐶

There is only one person I completely trust to take care of them, and that’s Emily at Waggy Tails Coventry ❤️

A warning to fellow pet owners…

Be very careful before signing up to a monthly pet health club. In my experience, what isn’t made clear is that you’re committing to a minimum 12-month contract. If you decide it’s not right for you and want to cancel early, you’ll be hit with an exit fee of £60 per dog.

After deciding the plan simply wasn’t worth it for me, I cancelled—only to be landed with a £120 bill for my two dogs.

Looking back, I’m not even convinced the plan offered enough value to justify the cost. Had I known I was effectively locked into a 12-month agreement with expensive cancellation fees, I would never have signed up.

My advice is simple: don’t assume it’s a rolling monthly plan just because you pay monthly. Read every bit of the small print, ask direct questions about the minimum term and cancellation charges, and make sure you know exactly what you’re agreeing to.

I’m sharing this because I don’t want other pet owners to get caught out the way I did.
