This is Natalie Herron. The sick and depraved Scottish woman who was jailed over a "horrific" monkey torture ring

She has now been released from prison after serving only part of her initial sentence.

She was jailed last year in a landmark case for possessing and distributing sickening footage of monkeys being tortured.

Police described it as “the most horrific material” they had ever seen. The Airdrie-native was sentenced to two years and three months in 2025.

The abuse seen in paid-for-clips ordered monkeys to be sadistically tortured and killed in Indonesia to create videos to be circulated online.

Videos featured brutal and prolonged torture of monkeys, some of which were just babies.

Investigators discovered 4,000 messages on a WhatsApp group which had been sent by Herron discussing torture and hatred of the animals.

Messages included one that said: "I am shocked how easily the drill went through the skull, it was like butter."

Another message read: "Trying to find a video where they will kill the mum and the babies have to watch."

Herron was recently set free from behind bars. Herron completed just over half of her original term.

I just went to check how many bottles he would need over year and the vets said 12, 1 per month.

Well I made a joke about winning the lottery or robbing a bank.

But when I got back in the car, I literally had tears of absolute defeat in my eyes.

I thought "he's just going to have to be PTS soon " 💔

He's such a sweet old man.

But just as I was about to click "PAY" while wondering where the F next months money was coming from...and having had just switched money around in their accounts, Chloe the vet nurse rang me back and corrected it ..
3-4 per year!

One every 4 months ISH depending on his weight.

SIGH.
Relief for now!.

Please help if you can.

He just wants nice food and loves.

He was skin and bone at that colony.

He's lost a fair bit of weight lately due to needing the dental that he had...the heart medication at £1 per day and now diabetes on top!

He really hasn't got long to be fair.
He's at least 10 years old.

All that going on medically.

Please help me give him a bit longer to live away from whatever horrid people had him before they dumped him. 😿
