To end the day it's handsome Abe relaxing in a brand new bed. Abe had a visit from his cat Aunty Sue Arnold in his new home with Mima & Chris & she brought him the new bed.
Mima says Abe is settling really well & it feels like he has lived within for a long time already.
Good boy Abe!
Grae is doing the feed rounds today so I can sit with my Mum for a few hours. She has several things going on at the moment & it's hard not to worry. She's a very elderly lady & has been through a lot.

We are FULL to intake.
Fagin's exists to help ferals, strays, street cats & community fed cats.
This year we have had an increasing amount of requests via email & Messenger asking us to take in owned pets. The requests via email are from out of area locations from desperate people who have been unable to obtain help in their own area.
If we take in unwanted pets we can't help ferals in our area. If we take in a cat you have rescued but have decided you can no longer keep we can't help ferals in our area. If a family member has died or gone into a care facility & you want us to take it in we can't help ferals in our area.
If you have rescued a cat take in the responsibility. If you feed a stray or feral make it your responsibility. Asking a tiny rescue like Fagin's to take in kittens from your Mum cat is unfair, take responsibility & neuter your pets.

Golden Oldie Alan says today is definitely a day to stay indoors out of the showers. Alan is eighteen & a half years old & has some arthritis in his back legs. A gentle walk round the lounge & conservatory keeps his joints moving nicely.
Apparently summer weather is forecast to return next week.🌧️☔🌦️

To end the day it's Mimi at this evening's feed time which I've just finished. She was very brave & let me stroke her as she ate.
Stewart & Sarah popped out to feed Ebony which gave me more time at hospital visiting with Mum - thanks both, you are stars.
