However, booking myself a fresh cut & blow dry the night before wasn't my smartest decision. So double cap + shower cap it was! With goggles, gloves & bee keepers hat for the blow-out! 😂

So honoured to be invited to say my goodbyes to sweet boy Jasper last week. How lucky was I to be his groomer. It never gets easier seeing dogs deterioate with illness and age, but it is a special bond we build and not one i take for granted. Not just 'playing with puppies all day'. 🌈

Friday 13th February 2026 I had to make the hard decision to let my Jasper go over rainbow bridge. Laura came to say goodbye i know he knew you were there even though he had gone blind virtually overnight. I was glad we found Laura when we moved to Sacriston 2019 it was down to her caring nature that we found things going on with Jasper. Anyways she is a fabulous groomer, very involved not only with her fur clients but very caring with their owners too. I will miss you Laura thank you for coming to say goodbye to my Jasper I wish you all the love and luck in the world thank you ###

The groom itself is only part of these sessions, we work slowly and gently to build a positive association to the sights and sounds of the salon and encourage a lifetime of stress free grooming! It helps when they’re as CUTE and brave as little Bruno the Shih Tzu was! 🖤
