1️⃣ A breathtaking Border Collie with striking blue eyes. We’re taking things step-by-step to build her confidence and trust, and her joyful personality is already shining through! 🥹💖

2️⃣ An outgoing Samoyed who is a total snow-white fluff ball. As a show dog, she’s a natural in front of the camera and loves striking a pose! 📸✨

Say hello to this gorgeous jet-black Labrador, who has officially joined us for our one-on-one dog walking sessions!

Every time I arrive, she greets me with the happiest tail wag—the kind that wiggles her whole body! We’ve been having the best woodland adventures right near her home, taking in all the exciting sights and scents nature has to offer.

She's an absolute joy to walk, listens so brilliantly, and brings so much energy to our solo strolls! 🌲🐶✨

At joyful paws Nottingham, we focus on individual care. All dog walks are strictly 1-on-1 (unless you have multiple dogs from the same household who love to step out together!), ensuring a safe and calm environment tailored to your dog.

• Tue: 10:30am – 11:00am (30 mins)
• Wed: 10:00am – 11:00am (1 hour)
• Thu: 10:00am – 11:00am (1 hour)
• Fri: Availability from 1:30pm onwards

From 20 to 23: 3 Years of Joyful Paws! 🐾✨

They say, "Choose a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life." Well, after 3 years, I can tell you that’s 100% true—even on the rainy, muddy days! ☔️

Since we’re celebrating a huge milestone this August, it’s time for a quick reintroduction. I’m Chelsea, the face (and heart!) behind the walks.
You’re probably used to seeing me in waterproofs, covered in dog hair, with a lead in my hand and a pocket full of treats! But here’s a rare snap of me all glammed up—us dog walkers scrub up well, even if I do say so myself. 🥂✨

I started Joyful Paws when I was just 20 years old to fill a gap in our local area for personalized, high-quality, 1-on-1 care. Starting a business so young wasn't always easy, but fast forward to 23, and my passion for giving your pups the undivided attention they deserve is stronger than ever. What started as a dream has turned into an incredible community of furry friends that I truly love like my own.

To all my wonderful clients—both two-legged and four-legged—thank you for trusting me with your best friends over the last three years. It’s been an amazing journey of growth, muddy paws, and endless joy.

Here’s to many more miles, treats, and wagging tails! 🌟🎂🥂

🚨 SUMMER REPEAT: IMPORTANT HEAT SAFETY REMINDER 🚨

Just popping back on with a quick reminder about our hot weather policy at Joyful Paws Nottingham! 🌡️🐾
With temperatures staying unusually high tonight, temperatures are NOT expected to drop below our 22°C limit until around 2:30 AM – 3:00 AM tomorrow morning.

What this means for tonight:
Please keep your pups indoors! It is 100% safer for them to miss their evening or late-night walk today. Even after the sun goes down, the ambient heat and warm pavement can easily lead to heat exhaustion.

Missing one walk won't hurt them at all, but the heat definitely can! We’ll be sticking to shade, cool pop-ins, and indoor enrichment until it’s safe again.

☀️🐾 Beat the heat! 🐾☀️

It’s been a super hot week with the heatwave, so we’ve been changing things up to keep all our furry friends cool and happy! We've been having the best time swapping long walks for some ultra-fun home visits.

Here’s a glimpse of how we've been staying cool:
💦 Splashing and treat-bobbing in the paddling pool
🧼 Chasing dog-friendly bubbles
🚰 Catching water fresh from the outside taps and watering cans
🌳 Chilling out in the shade
🎾 Quick games of fetch and lots of cuddles!

All of this from the comfort of our pups' own homes and gardens, making sure everyone stays safe, hydrated, and cool in the heat. 🏡❤️

Something some of you may be interested in being a part of

We have been working on a super special top secret project behind the scenes… 👀

We’ve been in conversation with Meadow View Dog Paddock & Training and we are SO excited to finally share that Train & Nourish will be working alongside them to help build a Nottinghamshire scent team to compete in their scent league!

For anyone who hasn’t come across Meadow View Dog Paddock & Training before, they are doing some absolutely incredible things within the scent world and are hugely respected for the opportunities, support and community they create around scentwork. We feel incredibly privileged and grateful that they have chosen to work with us on this project.

We’ll also be teaming up with a number of fantastic Nottinghamshire scent trainers to help build and support the team, helping more dogs and handlers get involved in this amazing sport.

To kick things off, our brand new Beginners Scent Classes will be starting on 25th June. These classes are open to complete beginners and designed to be fun, friendly and supportive for both dogs and handlers.

Whether you’d love the idea of joining the team in the future, or you’re simply looking for a new activity to enjoy with your dog, everyone is welcome!
