Hillside Veterinary Centre

Hillside Veterinary Centre Caring for your pets for over 25 years We all have the same passion - an undeniable love of animals.

We are a small animal vets, located on the main road through Corfe Mullen, near Wimborne and Broadstone and within easy reach of Poole Harbour in Dorset - a beautiful part of the country. Having been established since 1997 as a one vet practice, we have grown into a dedicated and passionate team of four vets, four nurses, three receptionists and two support staff. We have pets of our own that are

part of the family and we always strive to treat our patients as we would want our own pets treated - with love, care, understanding and a gentleness that is required when pets are feeling a little under the weather.

It's almost that time of year again! 🎊

Corfe Mullen Carnival is NEXT SATURDAY!

We are so excited to be hosting the fun dog show for the 5th year running πŸ•
It's always great fun and there's rosettes and certificates for 1st - 3rd place in each category. Thank you, as always, to Wessex Trophies Limited for supplying the rosettes. 🏡

Carnival day is such a great day for our community and raises money for local causes, this year they are Corfe Mullen United Juniors football club & 2nd Corfe Mullen Scouts. All money raised from the dog show will go towards these charities.

Registration starts from 2pm and the dog show will begin at 3pm.
Let us know if you're coming along! 🐢

If you've visited or called us over the past few days, thank you for your patience as we have had to work differently due to our reception refurbishment.

Whilst a large portion of our reception area is now complete, our refurbishment is ongoing throughout the rest of the practice so please be advised that if you have an appointment in the next few days there may still be some building noise.

Thank you once again for your understanding whilst the work is taking place.

A Little Itch is Normal - But Too Much? Not So Much!

If your cat is constantly licking, biting, itching or overgrooming, it could be more than just a habit - it might be a sign of allergies, skin irritation, parasites or even stress.
Left untreated, it can lead to hair loss, infection and discomfort.

Let’s get to the root of the itch!

We're still offering our FREE nurse skin checks until the end of the month so call us on 01202 698899 to book in.

We know it's supposed to be 'white rabbits' for the first of the month, but we haven't seen any recently so how about a gorgeous white cat instead!

We don't see many cats that are entirely white so it was a treat for our cat advocate nurse Abbi to see Bill for his 6 monthly Pet Health Plan check up 😻

He was a very well behaved boy for Abbi, and may have enjoyed a few Dreamies while he was here πŸ’š

A reminder that our refurbishment work begins today. We are unable to offer routine appointments for the next three days but we can still see your pet in an emergency. If you are visiting us for an emergency appointment, or to collect medication or food, please call us when you arrive on 01202 698899.

A reminder that our reception area refurbishment begins tomorrow.

A reminder that our reception area refurbishment begins tomorrow.

πŸ“£We have exciting news!πŸ“£

We have some long-awaited improvements being made to our reception area!
However, this will mean some changes to our services from 1st - 3rd June.

We will not have any availability for routine appointments on these three days, but we WILL be able to see your pet in an emergency, so do call us if you need us.

We will also be here if you need to make a future appointment and if you need to order or collect medication or food.

If you do visit us, we'd kindly ask that you call us on 01202 698899 when you arrive so that we can come out to you due to the building work that will be taking place inside our reception.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we thank you for your understanding and look forward to being able to welcome you into our newly designed reception space.
