🐾❤️ INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY ❤️🐾

Humans really don’t deserve dogs.

They are magical. Full of soul, personality and an incredible ability to love.

Every single one is different. Every dog has their own little quirks, their own way of communicating, their own character, their own way of making us laugh. Some are gentle and sensitive, some are completely bonkers 😂, some are stubborn, some are mischievous, some are full of confidence and some just want to curl up beside you.

They are all completely unique.

And yet, underneath all those differences, there is one thing that stays the same…

Love. ❤️

Pure, unconditional, uncomplicated love.

I’ve had a dog by my side since I was four years old, so honestly, I can’t imagine my life without them… or, more realistically, without the 12+ dogs I see daily 😍
Dogs have been there through every chapter of my life. They’ve brought me comfort, happiness and a reason to keep going when I’ve needed it most. ❤️

But this isn’t really about me.

It’s about them.

The souls who greet us like we’ve been gone for ten years when we’ve only been upstairs for five minutes.

The ones who somehow know when we’re sad.

The ones who make us laugh without even trying.

The ones who forgive us, trust us and love us despite everything.

The ones who don’t care what we’ve got, what we’ve done or who we are.

They just love us.

And maybe that’s why dogs have such a special place in my heart. Because when you really stop and look at them, they’re not just animals sharing our homes.

They’re little souls sharing our lives.

And I genuinely believe the world would be a much better place if we all loved a little more like dogs do. ❤️

So today, on International Dog Day, celebrate your dog.

Give them the extra cuddle. Take them on their favourite walk. Give them the treat they’ve been staring at you for. 😂

Because they give us so much of themselves…

and all they ever ask for in return is love. 🐾❤️
