@🐾❤️CANINE REACTIVITY CLASS ❤️🐾

I have 2 spaces for our Canine reactivity course this coming weekend. This is specifically tailored to reactive dogs. This class will be held outdoors at Rushton Meadows, which allows the dogs plenty of space and is a safe and secure paddock, which means we will not run the risk of off lead dogs approaching during the session

All dogs will be kept on lead for the session, and we will be working on your dogs reactivity, whether it is through excitement, anxiety, or lead frustration

This is a 2 week course, dates are June 6th and june 13th at 12.10 pm

This week I will be assessing on a daily basis what, if any training is going ahead. I will contact people individually to reschedule if your appointment needs to be postponed due to the heat 🐾☀️🌡

I'm not going to lecture you about our dogs safety & wellbeing in the hot weather, you know this already & you dont need a dog trainer to tell you, you guys are smart & I know you will always put your dogs first ❤️🐾

🌞🐾 Weather update 🐾🌞

Today's puppy socialisation is cancelled as was yesterday's large breed socialisation. The temperatures are too high at that time of the day for tne dogs to be out playing and young puppies are amongst the most vulnerable from heat related illness. I will contact everyone individually and your payment will be transfered to your next session

If anyone has a dog that manages well in the heat please let me know and you're more than welcome to have the paddock session for free

☀️🐾 WEATHER UPDATE 🐾☀️

For this weekend, the large breed and puppy socialisation session will be confirmed as to whether its going ahead an hour before and I will contact everyone booked directly

This is going to depend on how high the temperatures reach. It is predicted to be 23° today but we know that can change

Whilst we are the bright breezy Rushton Meadows with the tunnels to keep cool in, we have other factors to consider. These dogs are all the best of friends and love to play non stop which means they wont be able to cool down, it will elevate their heart rate, breathing rate and blood pressure and with the added factor of the high temperatures, can put them at risk of heat related illness

If it stays at 23° then we'll go ahead but I will make the judgement at 1.30pm
