Two cat ladies, one huge love for cats 🤍🐾

Monika is not just someone I work with - she’s like my twin sister. 👯‍♀️ We share the same crazy-big love for cats, and honestly, the cats can feel it too. They absolutely adore her… and she adores them right back 🥹❤️

Here she is sharing some very special cuddles with Errol & Sydney. Watching moments like this makes me so happy - because when cats choose to trust you, there’s nothing quite like it 🐱

Biscuit absolutely melts my heart 🤍🐾

He always seems to know exactly when I’m coming. Even when he’s somewhere outside, the moment he hears me, he comes running from wherever he is, meowing as loudly as he can… as if he’s shouting: “AUNTIE! YOU’RE HERE!” 🥹🐱

And then comes our favourite part - cuddles, head bumps, cheek rubs and lots of affection 🤍 He always makes sure I know just how happy he is to see me, and honestly… I feel exactly the same 🥰

These little greetings and our special moments together make my heart so full. Some cats really do have their own beautiful way of saying “I missed you” 💚

🐱 Why does my cat hide?

If your cat disappears under the bed when guests arrive, hides during loud noises or suddenly starts spending more time alone - don’t panic. Hiding is a normal behaviour for cats and can be their way of feeling safe and secure 🏡🤍

But remember: a sudden change in hiding behaviour shouldn’t simply be blamed on personality or age. Stress, fear, changes at home - and sometimes pain or illness - can all play a part.

🐾 Give your cat a safe hiding place.
🐾 Never force them to come out.
🐾 Keep their routine calm and predictable.
🐾 And if the change is sudden, unusual or persistent, speak to your vet.

Every cat is different. Understanding their behaviour is one of the best ways we can show them we care ❤️

Sometimes caring for older cats means getting a little creative… and sometimes, it means chicken on the sofa! 😹🐔🤍

Sydney can be a little reluctant to eat, so I decided to bring their cooked chicken over to the sofa and see what happened. And… bingo! 🥹 They both started eating happily.

Of course, Errol wasn’t going to let me forget about him! 😂 He made sure I knew it was his turn too.

These little moments might seem simple, but they mean so much to me. 💚 Caring for cats is not always just about following a routine - sometimes it’s about listening, adapting, and finding what makes them feel comfortable and happy 🐾

And then there was Sydney… 🤍🐾

This beautiful 10-year-old Persian girl may have lost one eye as a kitten, but she certainly never let that stop her from living life to the fullest. She is absolutely wonderful ✨

Just like Errol, Sydney trusted me surprisingly quickly. Before I knew it, she was curled up on my lap, enjoying cuddles and following me around while I went about my visits 🥹

We spent so much time together simply enjoying each other’s company - lots of cuddles, affection, and quiet moments ❤️

There is something incredibly special about being trusted by a cat who has been through so much. Sydney completely melted my heart 🐱🤍

From cautious first meeting… to this 🥹🤍🐾

Errol slowly realised he was safe with me, and then something beautiful happened. He started kneading his little blanket, giving me kisses, head-butting me, and gently rubbing his face against mine 🥹

My heart honestly couldn’t handle it. ❤️ I fell completely in love with this beautiful Abyssinian boy.

Errol needed a lot of closeness, so we spent plenty of time together - cuddling, bonding, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Watching him go from cautious to completely relaxed in my presence was incredibly special.

This is why I love what I do. Trust isn’t given - it’s earned. And when a cat finally chooses to trust you, it’s one of the most beautiful feelings in the world 🤍🐱

Back from my trip with fresh energy, a full heart, and ready for more wonderful adventures with my furry clients! ✨🐾

And today, I’d love to introduce you to Errol & Sydney 🤍

Their story started with a difficult past, but thankfully they found a truly wonderful human who gave them love, safety, and a beautiful home. Meeting their mum was incredibly touching - her love and dedication to her cats made a huge impression on me 🥹

Our first meeting was very gentle and cautious. Their mum warned me: “You’re going to fall in love with them.”
Well… she was absolutely right ❤️

This is only the beginning of their story. In the next few posts and reels, I’ll show you how our relationship slowly grew - and trust me, this is going to be a story about love 🐾🤍
