A huge thank you to all my lovely clients this week for your patience and understanding with moving your appointments to earlier times. It is greatly appreciated.

That’s me, over and out for the week. I hope you’re all surviving this glorious and very warm British weather. 🥵

Going forward, whenever temperatures are high, the salon will be opening much earlier so I can finish before the heat of the day. You’d think it was so I could sit in the paddling pool with a Pimm’s. 🍹

Just kidding! Those of you who know me know it’s always about the dogs. Their comfort and safety will always come first. 🐶🐾

Stay safe, keep cool, wear plenty of sunscreen, and enjoy the summer!

Grass seeds 🌱

Please don’t forget to check your dogs when home from a walk. I managed to retrieve this one yesterday from a dogs paw (see the blood line on the seed 😢), saving a lovely owner and dog a vets bill. 💰

The high temperatures this week are making for some fun grooming! I am carefully reviewing each day and each client individually. Whilst I have air con in place and have been starting earlier each day, with the dryers going the salon has been increasing in temperatures.

The welfare of your dogs comes first, I also need to consider the transport to and from the salon as well as the possibility that there are a few grumpy dogs with the continued heat!

The salon is now closed for the day and I will make a decision this evening regarding tomorrow’s diary.

With the warmer weather expected this week, I wanted to let all my lovely clients know that each dog and groom will be assessed on an individual basis to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.

If your dog is booked in this week, I may contact you to see if an earlier appointment can be arranged before the heat becomes too intense.

While the salon is fully air-conditioned, temperatures can still rise throughout a busy day of grooming, and your dog’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during the hot spell.
