☀️ URGENT PET SAFETY WARNING ☀️

With temperatures set to hit a scorching 30°C across Chorley, Leyland, and Coppull today, please keep your pets safe. Heat like this can become dangerous and even fatal, incredibly quickly.

Here is what you need to do today:
🏠 Keep them inside: Keep your pets indoors where it’s cool. Open windows can trap hot air, so keep curtains closed on sun-facing windows.

💧 Hydration is key: Offer plenty of fresh, cool water. Try dropping a few ice cubes in their bowl!

🚫 Skip the midday walks: Only walk your dogs at the coolest times of the day (early morning or late at night). If the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.

Unfortunately we have had a deceased cat brought into our Chorley Branch today. Black and white male, entire, no collar or microchip. Found on Eaves Lane across from Tesco Express. If you think this cat may be yours, please contact the Chorley Branch.

🐾 Easter Opening Hours 🐣

Please note our opening hours over the Easter weekend:

Gorgeous Lottie came in for her vaccinations yesterday and completely stole our hearts! ♥️
She soaked up all the love and attention from the team and was such a good girl throughout her visit. An absolute superstar you are Lottie ⭐️

Deceased Cat Found. Please share

Sadly, a deceased cat has been brought into our Chorley practice after being found on Ackhurst Industrial Estate. The cat is not microchipped. Due to injuries, we are unable to determine the s*x. However, they do have distinctive grey and white markings.

We’ve had a young adult, female brindle lurcher brought into the practice. Unfortunately her microchip isn’t registered.
She was found on Atherton Road in Leyland this evening.
