Farm dog Sam enjoying his laser ✨

When I first started seeing Sam for his arthritis he was very nervous and uncomfortable. His owner had to keep hold of him otherwise he would get up and run away. Now that we have his pain relief sorted (meds and fortnightly laser), he comes in willingly and falls asleep during his treatment, I’ve even recently got a nuzzle and a kiss 🥰🥹

Laser therapy helps to promote natural pain relief, reduces inflammation associated with arthritic joints and promotes soft tissue healing. With the colder months coming older dogs tend to struggle. Supporting arthritic pets helps manage their comfort and wellbeing 🐶🐱

Last week I was invited to Oakhill Equine Vets for a CPD event. Great talks from both Nikki and Rosie and lovely to meet up with other physiotherapists in the area.

Thank you to all the physiotherapists who attended our recent CPD event. Rosie and Nikki thoroughly enjoyed hosting you all.

It was a fantastic learning environment, with engaging discussions on suspensory ligament disorders, PSSM, and the latest evidence supporting the use of water treadmill therapy in the rehabilitation of equine patients.

We greatly appreciate everyone’s participation and enthusiasm, which helped make the event such a success. We hope you found the sessions informative and valuable, and we look forward to welcoming you back again next year.

Splints 🦴

With all this hard ground splints have been riff!

Here’s an example of a splint I treated with laser therapy ⬇️.
This splint was lasered within a day of coming up and went down over 3-laser sessions alongside cold hosing daily. We did a total of 6-sessions of laser to ensure maximum healing 🙌🏼✨

Laser therapy is offered separately to usual physiotherapy treatment for issues like this. Enquire for more 💚
