A huge thank you to everyone who came over to see me at Bark in the Park on Sunday. It was lovely meeting so many of you, having a chat and, of course, meeting your dogs! 🐶

For those who didn’t get chance to stop and talk, I’m Angela Stafford RVN, the face behind Nurse Paws.

I use the Emmett Technique, a gentle hands-on therapy that can work alongside your veterinary care to support dogs and cats with:

I’ll be at Congleton Park with my Nurse Paws stall on Sunday 27th September from 12pm.

🐾 Bollington Staff & Clients’ Dogs Rocking Their Nurse Paws Bandanas! 💜

Although I may have finished my role as a Veterinary Nurse at Bollington Vets, I haven’t gone far! 😊

I’m still very much part of the team — now as Nurse Paws. 💜🐾

My first week focusing fully on Nurse Paws has begun, and I’m really looking forward to this next chapter.

💜Kind Words from a Happy Owner💜

It means so much when an owner shares the difference they’ve noticed after their pet’s Emmett Therapy sessions…

"My shih Tzu daisy was diagnosing with ivdd after going off her back legs, I felt physio was a bit aggressive and daisy is nervous, I contacted Angie and she kindly fit us in that week, daisy had 2 session and when she went for her vet check the vet commented she couldn't believe how well she was walking, after 3 sessions she was discharged.I highly recommend Emmett for recovery and long term, I feel daisy would not be back to where she is without it, it is such a gentle calm process and it works. Angie is wonderful I can't praise her highly enough, she is calm caring and so patient with my nervous dog, daisy is back to her ball chasing self, rolled not thrown now, thanks to Angie and her Emmett technique."

💜A bittersweet new chapter💜

After more than 30 years as a qualified veterinary nurse, the time has come for me to hang up my stethoscope and finish my veterinary nursing role.

Over the years, I have seen so many changes and had some incredible experiences—from helping with lump removals on tiny hamsters to assisting with cow caesareans in the middle of the night on remote farms!

Veterinary nursing has been such a huge part of my life, so naturally I feel a little sad to be closing this chapter. However, I’m also excited about what the future holds.

Nurse Paws and my Emmett Therapy work will very much continue. In fact, I’ll now be able to dedicate more of my time to the business and to helping dogs and cats with their comfort, mobility and quality of life.

This means I’ll soon have more appointments available for:

🐾 Home visits.

🐾 Appointments at Tytherington Veterinary Centre.

It may be time to hang up my stethoscope, but my passion for helping animals remains as strong as ever.
Here’s to the next chapter with Nurse Paws.
