To all my lovely clients,
I wanted to share some exciting personal news with you all – I’m expecting a baby! ❤️
Firstly, I’d like to thank you all for your continued support. I absolutely love what I do, and my plan is to keep working for as long as I safely can.
For most of my services, there will be very little change. Dog walking will continue as normal, with no changes required.
For my livery clients, I do need to start making a few small adjustments as my pregnancy progresses. I’ll be reducing heavy lifting where possible, such as carrying shavings bales, and I’d really appreciate your help in minimising any unnecessary extra workload. In the coming months, I will be requesting shavings left outside stables for me to put down and/or clients to pop a bale down themselves on the days they do their own horses. I would also hugely appreciate clients being mindful of how many buckets of water their horses require when stabled, to avoid me lifting, emptying and refilling excess amounts of unused water daily.
The more considerate everyone can be with these small adjustments, the longer I’ll be able to continue working and providing the best possible care for your horses.
I will not under any circumstances be taking on any new bookings for holiday livery or pet sitting from this point onwards. If you’re already booked in, don’t worry—everything currently in my diary will go ahead as planned. If you’ve recently requested a booking but not yet confirmed your dates, this will still be carried out but please confirm dates as soon as possible.
All being well, my last working day will be 18th December. At the moment, I’m not setting a return-to-work date, so I’d strongly recommend that everyone makes alternative arrangements for pet care from after Christmas onwards. If and when I decide on a return date, I’ll let everyone know as soon as possible.
Thank you all so much for your understanding, kindness and support—it really does mean a lot. I’m incredibly grateful to have such wonderful clients, and I’m looking forward to continuing to care for your pets for as long as I safely can before I head off on this exciting new adventure!
