Matted dog transformation ✂️🤍

This sweet pup came in heavily matted, uncomfortable, and overdue for a groom. With lots of patience, care, and regular breaks, we were able to safely remove the matting and make them feel comfortable again 🐾

Matting can be painful for dogs and can hide skin irritation underneath, which is why regular grooming and brushing at home is so important.

Seeing the difference in their comfort and confidence after a groom like this is the most rewarding part of my job 🤍

After a few previous appointments where grooming was extremely stressful for him, today’s groom was a huge improvement 🐾✨

In the past, sedation was needed to help keep him calm and comfortable throughout the process. We’re so pleased to say that with patience, trust building and a gentle approach, he coped so much better today and was far more relaxed during his groom 💛

So proud of how far he’s come — progress like this takes time, and he did amazingly! 🐶✂️
