While setting up at Edition Dog Live today, I got to meet the fabulous Hollie from Woof by Hollie!

One of Hollie’s wonderful designs features in the logo for our Speak Sighthound self-study digital pack, created in collaboration with the fabulous Behaviour By Becca

It was so lovely to meet Holly in person and have a chat!

If you’d like to learn more about Speak Sighthound and how it can help you better understand your sighthound the link in the comments.

You can find Hollie in Hall 2 Stand 12 and me in Hall 1 Stand 6 in the Professionals Village. We are both there Saturday and Sunday.

Three of our members have had birthdays recently. Number three, last but definitely not least, is Elle!

Happy birthday to the brilliant Elle!

I talk a lot about helping dogs grow in confidence, but Elle is a little different. She’s one of the most confident greyhounds I’ve ever met. The fun is in giving that confidence somewhere to go!

Elle has big opinions, gets bored easily and has the potential to make a little (or a lot of) mischief. She loves a training exercise she can really get her teeth into, and you can almost imagine her with her hand in the air: “I know! Let me do it!” She gives off strong Hermione Granger energy. 😂

She often goes to work with Sam, a clinical canine massage therapist, and loves being front and centre as a demo dog. Elle’s favourite thing is getting involved and getting it right. The bigger the audience, the better!

She also has a clever end-of-class routine: find a comfy spot anywhere in the hall, pretend to be asleep and hope nobody asks her to move. She’s an expert photobomber too. Have a look at that last picture. She looks very pleased with herself!

Elle has a great relationship with Sam, Mark, Sirius and Amie, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our crew.

Three of our members have had birthdays recently. Number two is Cody!

Happy birthday to the lovely Cody!

Cody is a newer member of our Insight Hounds family. She recently completed her Sighthound Skills course alongside her sister, Nala.

When Cody first joined us, she was so unsure of the world and wasn’t quite sure what to do. It’s been wonderful to see her begin to find her feet. When she has little jobs to do, like standing on a step or going to her bed, you can see her start to come into her own.

Cody has the most incredible waggy tail. It curls right round, and when she gets something right, you can see her happiness and confidence shine through. Those moments are such a joy to witness.

She’s a credit to Rich and Shirley, her beautiful sister Nala and the rest of their gang. We’re looking forward to getting to know her even better as the weeks go by.

I hope you’ve had a wonderful birthday, Cody!

Three of our members have had birthdays recently. Up first is Woody Woodstar!

Happy birthday to the one and only Woody!

Woody has been part of Insight Hounds from the very beginning. He was in our first ever class, so I’ve been lucky enough to know him for a long time.

He’s a sweet, quiet soul who often likes to sit back and take everything in. He may not be the loudest boy in the room, but over the years we’ve seen his confidence grow.

His relationship with Tina is just beautiful. He’s also done amazingly well with Lu the Galgo joining their family. It’s been so sweet to watch Woody embrace his new brother’s playful energy.

Woody is also one of our Wednesday morning walkers, and he’s friends with Izzy and Freddie.
One of his favourite pastimes is squeezing himself into beds that are far too small for him.
And there’s another side to Woody that appears when a new girl joins his class! This boy becomes a total charmer. It’s so out of character and entertaining to watch.

He’s a steady, handsome, perfectly adorable part of our community, and we’re so lucky to have him.

I hope you’ve had a lovely birthday, Woody
