🐾 MAT REMOVAL SERVICE – IT’S ABOUT COMFORT, NOT JUST APPEARANCE
Mats can be much more than messy fur. As they become tighter, they can pull on the skin with every movement, making your cat uncomfortable or even painful.
A cat with mats may:
• become more sensitive to touch
• suddenly dislike being brushed or picked up
• react aggressively when a painful area is touched
• avoid stretching or moving normally
• lick or bite at the affected area
Sometimes owners notice a change in behaviour before they even realise there is a mat hiding underneath the coat.
And honestly, one of the most rewarding parts of my job? ❤️
Removing a tight mat from somewhere like under a cat’s armpit… and then watching them calmly stretch their little leg out properly again.
That moment when you can almost see the relief. 🥹🐾
