Looking after our athletes was the theme of an informative evening that Crouch Valley members were invited to. Visiting Canine Physio Mel Doyle and our own Bowen practitioner Laura Johnson delivered a talk on fitness exercises, warm up and cool down exercises. Some members bought their dogs along and were guided on how to recognise areas where we can improve our dogs form with simple sit stand exercises, trouble shooting weaknesses. Also how Bowen can help as a complementary therapy to get the dog in a restful state to assist healing and behaviour.
23 members attended, with 12 dogs.
Thank you Mel and Laura on behalf of all those that attended.
