Important Health Information for Daycare
Sickness and Diarrhoea
If your dog has sickness or diarrhoea, please keep them at home until they are fully recovered. They can return to daycare 48 hours after their last episode.
Kennel Cough Vaccinations
There are two types of kennel cough vaccine: a nasal spray and an injection.
When booking your dog's annual vaccinations, please ask your vet for the injection if your dog attends daycare. The nasal spray is a live vaccine, so dogs who receive it will need to stay away from daycare for two weeks afterwards. Please remember to scan over or bring in the vaccine card every year after the vaccines so we can copy these for our records.
Kennel Cough Symptoms
If your dog shows any signs of kennel cough (such as a honking cough, sneezing or nasal discharge), please keep them at home. Once all symptoms have cleared, they will need to stay away for a further 14 days before returning.
