Got a spare few hours and want to make a real difference for local animals? We’re looking for friendly volunteers to join our lovely team at the RSPCA Frinton Shop in Connaught Avenue 🐾

We currently have volunteer slots available on the till for:

Mondays (All day / flexible shifts)

Friday mornings (Up to 1:00 PM)

Say hello to the gorgeous Rocco! 🐶⭐️ This big, lovable boy is full of personality and absolutely adores spending time with his human friends. He is confident, playful, and loves nothing more than fun, games, and plenty of fuss!

Kennel life can be a bit stressful for Rocco, but as soon as he gets to unwind in our onsite cozy room, his true, happy nature shines through. He is an absolute sweetheart who is just waiting for the right home to decompress and settle in.

🎾 An active lifestyle: Rocco has more energy than your typical English Bulldog, though he is still a master at taking long, well-earned snoozes!

🧼 Breed care: An owner who understands standard Bulldog maintenance, including warm-weather care and keeping his cute facial wrinkles clean.

Meet Sandy, an amazing soul who came into our care through no fault of his own. Poor Sandy is currently feeling very shut down and is really struggling with life in the cattery. He craves safety, peace, and someone with the patience to let him blossom.

Sandy is taking his time to trust humans right now, but once you win his heart, he reveals his true self—he absolutely loves a good fuss and will happily roll over for belly scratches! 🐱✨

Here is what you need to know about this special boy:

Ideal Home: An outdoor-based home (like a quiet farm, stable yard, or smallholding with shelter) where he has the freedom to explore, but with the option to pop inside whenever he pleases.

Health: Sandy has overcome a tough bout of cat flu and recently had a full mouth extraction, meaning he no longer has any teeth. While this doesn’t slow him down, he will need a loving owner who can provide long-term management and keep an eye on his mouth health.
