Happy Feathered Friday 💙🦜

Someone has found their new favourite snack spot, and they’re taking their taste-testing duties VERY seriously!

Our gorgeous Catalina Macaw has been making the most of the new Your Parrot Amazonas Mineral Clay, and judging by the enthusiasm, we think it’s safe to say we’ve got a fan 🤭

Inspired by the natural clay licks visited by wild parrots, this mineral-rich clay is a lovely way to encourage natural pecking and exploration.

Although we’re not sure there’s going to be much left at this rate! 😂

Drop a photo below of what your feathered friends have been up to this week 🦜📸

Calling all black cat lovers... We want to meet your little house panthers! 🐈‍⬛

Tuesday 27th October is Black Cat Day, and we're getting ready to celebrate all the beautiful black cats in our Pet Village community. 🐾

Despite their gorgeous looks and wonderful personalities, black cats have historically faced unfair superstitions and can sometimes be overlooked when it comes to adoption. But we think they're nothing short of magical ✨

So, we need YOUR help to give these wonderful companions the spotlight they deserve.

📸 Share a photo of your black or black-and-white cat in the comments below or send us a DM.

💬 Tell us their name, a little about their personality and what makes them so special. Are they a professional napper, a cheeky troublemaker or the biggest cuddle bug?

We'll be sharing your gorgeous feline family members on Black Cat Day, 27th October, to celebrate them in all their glory.

We can't wait to meet them! 💙

Supporting healthy feathers, muscles & growth starts with the right nutrition 🦜

Your Parrot Protein Pro 50 is a highly digestible, high-protein supplement containing an impressive 50% protein, making it ideal when your parrot needs some extra nutritional support.

It can be particularly useful during periods when your parrot’s protein requirements are increased, including:

✨ Moulting – supports healthy feather formation
✨ Breeding – helps support parents during this demanding period
✨ Raising young – supports healthy growth and development
✨ Changing feed – provides additional protein during dietary transitions
✨ Muscle development – helps support healthy muscle growth

And because it’s so highly concentrated, even small quantities can be very effective.

If your parrot needs additional protein during one of these important stages, Protein Pro 50 could be a valuable addition to their diet 🦜💙

Available in-store and online at Pet Village.

They say you can’t have just one parrot… and our customers are certainly proving that! 😂🦜💙

One of the loveliest parts of what we do at Pet Village is seeing our customers come back to us time and time again.

Every single bird featured in these photos belongs to a customer who has returned to us for another feathered family member. Some are now on their second, while others have come back for their fourth, fifth and even sixth! 😂💙

As a family-run business, there’s genuinely no bigger compliment than someone trusting us not just once, but over and over again.

We put so much time and love into raising and caring for our birds, and getting to see them settled, happy and enjoying life with their families makes it all worthwhile. We absolutely love receiving your photos, hearing your updates and watching your feathered families grow over the years. 🥹

To everyone who has chosen Pet Village, whether it’s been for your very first bird or your sixth, thank you for continuing to put your trust in us. It really does mean the world to our whole team. 💙

Now we’re curious… how many birds have you welcomed into your family from Pet Village? 😂🦜

Happy Feathered Friday 💙🦜

A little bit of love from our gorgeous baby Scarlet Macaw this Friday! 🥹❤️

Someone clearly decided that cuddles were far more important than getting any work done today! 😂

This beautiful baby is growing into such a lovely little character. Incredibly affectionate, loves being around people and is always more than happy to stop for a cuddle (or a cheeky kiss!) 💙

It’s moments like these that make spending our days with these incredible birds so special. 🥹🦜
