A great run from Kirsty and Cinders. Our indoor winter area is the perfect way to improve handling, with the obstacles closer together than normal it really helps to get nice clean tight handling as Kirsty shows here. Fab run and loving Cinders weaves. Xx

Heres a fun and very brief look at teaching your dog to retrieve. There are a few different ways but heres one I use to begin teaching formal retrieve and it's a great method to use when your dog has already learnt to run off with their ball. Eventually you will be able to use your dogs toys but I advise against toys to start with. In the beginning reward your dog for even looking at the item you place on the floor, then hold out for a little more interaction from your dog with the item such as putting their nose on it, after a few reps of this hold out again, your dog will soon start moving the item with their nose and after a while they should try picking it up. This can take varying amounts of time depending on your dog but eventually they will open their mouth and attempt to pick it up. Remember to build this behaviour gradually rewarding your dog for offering any increased interest in your retrieve item. As always keep your session fun and brief with lots of rewards and a fun game at the end.
