We are seeking Cattery Assistants part time and full time to help us with the forthcoming peak periods, who will oversee the daily care of cats, includes feeding, cleaning pens and ensuring their environment is hygienic and secure. Additional responsibilities include monitoring the health and behaviour of the cats, administering medications as required, and maintaining positive communication with pet owners. The role may also involve assisting with client check-ins and check-outs, maintaining records, and helping with light administrative tasks.
You will need
• Experience or qualification in animal care, particularly feline care
• Strong attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and monitoring animal well-being.
• Basic administrative skills and familiarity with record-keeping
• Effective communication and customer service skills to assist pet owners.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as cleaning and lifting small to medium-sized animals.
• Willingness to work on-site, including weekends and holidays on a roster system.
• Previous experience in a similar role or a passion for working with animals is a must.
• Willingness to undertake feline care qualifications following training.
