Tonight I walked long stayer Billy. He walked well on his lead and was happy to walk with his greyhound pals. Billy saw a variety of other breeds and showed little interest. He had a close encounter (nose to nose) with a 20 week old Labrador puppy and his tail was wagging furiously. I don’t understand why nobody has shown an interest in this lovely black shiny hound. This boy has come a long way and deserves his forever sofa. Black dogs are beautiful!

We've hit the 'ber' months so get the dates in the diary.

There will be no Drumpelier walk this month as the volunteers are going out for a well deserved lunch.

Sunday 20th Ayr Beach walk - 2pm at the carpark next to Horizon Hotel.

Sunday 27th Strathclyde Park walk - 1.30pm at the car park after the Watersports Centre. Car Park 1.
This walk is also the Great Global Greyhound Walk so it will be busy with loads of hounds and humans.

If you can walk a homeless dog at any of these walks please let us know in advance.

As always ALL dogs attending our walks have to be kept on lead at all times, for the safety and comfort of all dogs in attendance.

9yo Bella was collected yesterday and is now in a short term foster home. She is rather traumatised so we will give her a while to relax before moving forward with decisions.

URGENT APPEAL
FOSTER HOME OR NEW HOME NEEDED FOR A LOVELY GIRL WHO WILL SOON BE 9yo.

OWNER DECEASED

Bella will be 9 in October, she can be a little Timid initially until she gets to know you. Is ok with other dogs. Currently being looked after temporarily by a friend of the deceased however they have a cat.
