A family-run business based in West Bradford, Clitheroe. This includes Lister, Supershear, Heiniger and Beiyuan.

We are proud to be the home of the Longhorn 12v shearing machine and supply a wide range of shearing equipment and spare parts, including our own Longhorn Shearing clothing range We started selling Sheep shearing machines and animal clippers, direct to farmers, over 30 years ago. In 1990 we began manufacture of our own "Longhorn 12 volt" battery machines-- 100% Made in Britain. We now manufacture top-quality flexible driveshafts for most machines, and sell spares for most machines, and clothing and accessories under our own "Longhorn" brand. We like to hear from people all over the world who share our interest in sheep, different sheep breeds, and sheep shearing. We sponsor sheep shearing competitions, speed shears, and Young Farmers Club competitions. We cover Sheep shearing, speed shearing, and hand clipping demonstrations and competitions.

Meet Daisy!!

You’ll probably hear Daisy before you see her… and quite possibly before you’ve even entered the building!

Daisy is one of the friendly (and definitely loudest) voices behind the phones here at Horner Shearing!

When she’s not causing chaos or providing the office with some questionable entertainment, she’s busy answering calls, helping customers with their queries and keeping everyone on their toes.

She’s also recently taken on a bigger role in trade sales, building customer relationships and managing enquiries!

So, if you’ve ever called Horner Shearing, chances are you’ve spoken to Daisy… or at least heard her shouting in the background! 🤣

Say hello to John, Catherine, Rob, Alice and Lauren — our brilliant little family of assembly technicians.

These are the lovely faces behind building our Longhorn XTs and 12V machines, making sure everything is assembled, checked and ready to get to work.

And when the busy season hits? They’re also the team working hard behind the scenes to help get your sharpening turned around and back to you as quickly as possible. ⚡

They’ve got their own little department, plenty of teamwork, plenty of laughs, and somehow manage to keep everything moving when things get hectic!
