✨Before & After ✨

Lyra the Cocker Spaniel’s groom from last Thursday. 🐶💛

What a lovely transformation! She left looking fresh, tidy, and feeling her best. ✂️🛁

This week the temperature is going to reach up too 34 degrees ☀️ it’s very important we keep our furry friends 🐶 cool during a heatwave by:

🐾Providing fresh water throughout the day

🐾Taking them for a walk early in the morning or late in the evenings when the temperature is cooler

🐾 Keep dogs indoors when the heat is at it’s highest

🐾 Close the curtains/blinds on sun that is coming through the window and use fans

🐾 Use a damp towel or cool Mats

🐾 Offer cooling treats

🐾 Never take them out and leave them in a car!!

Heatstroke is deadly to dogs and some dogs are at higher risk- older dogs, overweight dogs, puppies and flat faced bread too like pugs, bulldogs and French bull dogs

If it’s too hot for you to hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 5-7 seconds it’s too hot for them! 🐶

Arlo the Irish Setter came in yesterday for a full groom and scissor tidy ✂️

Just a neat-up to keep his beautiful coat looking its best, as his owner likes to keep him long. Such a handsome boy! 🐶🐾

🐶✅ Completed my Canine First Aid course on Saturday!

A great day of learning practical skills and gaining confidence in how to respond if a dog becomes ill or injured. Hopefully I’ll never need to use these skills, but it’s reassuring to know how to help in an emergency.

A big thank you for Allwinds Dog First Aid for such an informative day! 🐾

Full Groom for Barney & Kipper ✂️🐶

Thursday was a grooming day for Barney the Golden Retriever and Kipper the Cocker Spaniel. Both were such good dogs and enjoyed a full groom, leaving them looking fresh, clean, and feeling their best! ✨🐶🐾
