He is microchipped, but unfortunately the contact details registered are no longer up to date, so we have been unable to make contact.

Celebrating another milestone!! 🥳

This week we have been celebrating 10 years at Haven Vets with Leanne our lovely Frinton nurse and Amy our wonderful receptionist.

They are both amazing kind and caring people and we are so lucky to have them in our team.

Pet travel update. ✈️🐶

From Wednesday 22 April new EU rules came into effect covering how GB residents can travel to the EU with their pets.

One of the important updates to note is that GB residents can no longer use EU pet passports to travel into the EU.

The changes apply to non-commercial movements of dogs, cats and ferrets

🐾 Kobi’s Incredible Transformation! 🐾

Meet Kobi, a 5-year-old Pocket American Bully who has been on an amazing journey with us here at Haven Vets 💙

Back in September 2025, Kobi weighed 34.4kg and began attending our nurse-led weight clinics with our nurse, Alice. Through dedication, guidance, and fantastic commitment from his owners, Kobi has now reached his ideal body condition score!

As of March 2026, Kobi weighs a healthy 30.1 kg — an impressive 4.3 kg weight loss 👏✨, which equals 14% of his body weight.
That’s the equivalent of an average adult male losing around 2 stone!

Alongside his weight journey, Kobi has also been visiting us regularly for treatment of allergic dermatitis. Thanks to consistent veterinary care and excellent owner compliance, his skin condition has shown a huge improvement, and he’s now much more comfortable and happy 🐶💚
