FRIDAY LAST MINUTE AVAILABILITY Don’t be as sleepy as Nolan!
Come and join us for a hack at 11am on Friday 4th.
We have three spaces for intermediate riders for an hour in Cirencester Park.
We also have two spaces for an adult class lesson at 11.15.
Don’t forget to get your Saturday bookings in. We have a few spaces in the 12pm capable novice children’s lesson.

A big thank you to all our friends and clients of Greenhill for visiting us and making it a bumper Summer.
At the beginning of August we had a fabulous Summer camp welcoming 22 children for three days, followed by weekly pony mornings. Our jump clubs were popular each week and our hacking was of course second to none as we are based in Cirencester Park.
Eventing took a back seat for everyone due to very hard ground conditions and we always put the horses welfare first and think long term, so arena work only and a pause on cross country.
Finally the rain arrived and the little green tips of grass are are poking through, it is hopefully going to be a better Autumn for the ground and will also mean we can extend the grazing period into the winter.
Our lessons for the new term start this week after school so please email to check you have your space. Regulars have been emailed but if you are not booking your months slots then we cannot guarantee your place.
Daily adult lessons from 9am - 12pm with Nathalie are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with a few slots left this month.
Please note we will be closed on Wednesdays and Sundays for lessons from mid September.
Hacking is on Tuesday and Friday at 11am for intermediate riders.

Homer is a dab hand at the 20m front crawl. He seems to have mastered the art well. Nolan did not want to put his water wings on today so he had a good look around and went for a hack instead!
Continuing hard ground means the need to find a less physically impactful activity is crucial for joint and muscle health.
Thanks to the team for their expert care swimming the horses.

Well done Molly and Scarlet for a successful round showjumping Rectory Farm Arena this morning.
Molly and Dory were 4th with a lovely clear round and Scarlet successfully piloted Rockstar around his first ever round of showjumps and first competition. They had just the last pole down but he seemed to get the hang of it and was calm and happy. That’s all we look for at this stage so job well done.
As a staff member at Greenhill you get the opportunities to compete and we encourage everyone to keep learning and having fun.

We are recruiting for full and part time team members for live in and out positions here at Greenhill near Cirencester.
We are a BHS highly commended, mixed equestrian centre offering livery for all, training and competition prep and care and a bespoke and organised, modern riding school.
We need experienced and dedicated staff who are happy and enjoy horses and working as a team.
Yard work and live out only for the part time staff.
Further training for full time, live in and all the usual employment criteria met. Single female shared accommodation only. No pets please. Horses considered but only on a livery basis.
Full time salary for over 21s start at £30k pa.
Part time above NLW per hour.
Genuine Freelance would be considered.
Great working environment, supportive and friendly team.

Congratulations to Romilly and Dougal for placing in the top 10 at the Trailblazers Prelim and Novice junior championships this weekend. Very well ridden.
Congratulations also to Sue and Teddy who placed in both Novice championships.

Homer and Nolan took to the pool today and learned to swim.
At a time when the ground is so hard it is very difficult to take care of the horses joints and keep them fit, so what better than a regular trip to the pool.
The boys found muscles they never knew they had and of course Mr. Overachiever AKA Homer thought he was a seahorse.
