🐎 Freelance riding and lessons/coaching offered 🐎

After taking a few years off from freelancing to study and pursue a career in psychology, I've realised how much I miss working with my lovely clients and their horses.

I'm now looking to offer both freelance riding and freelance lessons/coaching (on your own horse) over the summer, alongside my current job in mental health.

I have been around horses my whole life and riding for nearly 20 years. I have two horses of my own and have previously worked with and ridden lots of different types of horses; such as cobs, ponies, ex-racers, quarter horses, show jumpers, stallions and more. I ride both Western and English, so would be happy to ride either.

I hold a full enhanced DBS check for working with both children and adults, and have experience teaching children at both beginner and more experienced levels, as well as adults.

Whether you're just getting back in the saddle again and looking to build more confidence, or a more experienced rider aiming to refine certain skills, I hope that I can help your and your horse work towards your goals.

I mainly cover the Verwood/Ringwood area, as well as Bournemouth, Bransgore, Fordingbridge and surrounding areas. May be able to travel elsewhere so please do let me know if you live in an area that is not mentioned above!

Little Casper has been making some absolutely fabulous progress!!

I started working with him unbroken at the end of autumn 2022, and started from the ground up with lots of desensitisation, inhand walks, homemade obstacle courses etc as well as teaching him lunging and long reining and then slowly and gently started backing him.

He started off as a very nervous pony so we took it really steady with him and did all sorts of things to boost his confidence.

Anyway - here he is today jumping his first mini course of little fences!! He's got a cracking pop on him so think with a bit of time he's going to be super!! 🥰

With all my yard and groundwork hours filled, I currently have space for one or two extra clients for riding/exercising horses.

This can be ad hoc or regular and can be tailored to suit both yours and your horses' needs, and includes:

* Riding
*Schooling
* Hacking
* Lunging/longreining
* Jumping
* Competition riding

and much more! Whatever may help out you and your horse or pony 😊

Kind, sympathetic rider with over 15 years experience, 5'10 but lightweight so happy to ride both horses, and ponies (within reason!)
Have jumped 1.20m and taken horses XC and hunter trials, as well as breaking in horses and producing them,
Happy to ride big or small, lazy or sharp! Have ridden hot competition horses and have sat my fair share of rears, bucks and broncs so not afraid of quirks!

The time has now come for us to start looking for a sponsored horse and rider combo (x2) and we couldn’t be more excited to share this with you. It’s been a long time coming!
To make this more inclusive, we are looking for both:

- A competition rider
- A hacking/pleasure rider
