🌈 Run Free, Beautiful Millie 🌈

It’s always so hard to lose any of our daycare dogs, but Millie was extra special to me. She was one of the few original dogs still with us from when I first started over 8 years ago, so she has been such a big part of my journey from the very beginning. ❤️

She was an incredibly cheeky girl when she was younger and absolutely LOVED splashing around in water! 💦😂

Millie truly had the best life, adored by her incredible owners. Karen Clegg They gave her so much love, time and care and made sure she had the most wonderful life possible. ❤️

I feel so lucky to have known her and shared so many memories with her over the years. Run free, gorgeous girl. 🌈🐾 You will be so very missed and never forgotten. ❤️

Hot weather protocols are back in place for the rest of this week 🐾 ☀️ Pick ups from 7am Tuesday through to Friday with drop offs from 1 or 2pm (temperature dependent). Please note I need 24hrs for cancellation so if you think your dog will struggle please cancel them with plenty of notice thank you. 🙏

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for your patience, understanding and support throughout this week’s hot weather.

We know the changes to collection and drop-off times, as well as the cancellations, weren’t ideal, but they allowed us to keep all of the dogs, and our team, as safe and comfortable as possible during the extreme temperatures.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who worked with us and understood that every decision we made was in the best interests of the dogs.

The good news is that we’re looking forward to cooler weather next week, which means we’ll be returning to our normal schedules and getting back to enjoying our usual adventures!

Thank you again for your continued support. We can’t wait to see all of our four-legged friends back out having fun in more comfortable temperatures! 🐾❤️

☀️ HOT WEATHER UPDATE ☀️

As many of you know, we’re experiencing some very warm temperatures this week, so we have been adjusting our collection, walk and drop-off times to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all the dogs in our care.

The welfare of the dogs will always come first, and that means adapting our schedule when necessary to avoid the hottest parts of the day.

We understand that some dogs may be out for a shorter period than usual, and we appreciate your understanding. As a small independent business, however, our costs don’t reduce when the weather changes. We still have six members of staff to pay, vehicles to run and maintain, insurance, fuel, equipment, licences and all the day-to-day overheads that keep our business operating safely and professionally.

Extreme weather can be particularly challenging for small businesses. While we may have to shorten routes, adjust schedules and spend additional time planning around the heat, our operating costs remain exactly the same. In many cases, they increase.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our clients. Every booking helps support local jobs, local families and a small business that genuinely cares about the dogs entrusted to us every day.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and loyalty while we navigate another hot spell. Your support means more than you know and allows us to continue providing a safe, reliable and professional service while always putting the dogs first. 🐾❤️
