Honeysuckle Pet Services 5 Star Licenced Luxury Home Boarding We pride ourselves on being trusted pet care providers and in giving our customers a great value for money service.

At Honeysuckle Pet Services, we provide a quality and reliable service in the areas of dog walking, home boarding and pet sitting. Our home is set in a beautiful semi rural location, set well back from the road with very secure fencing in the garden and grass paddocks. We have a number of fantastic walks available to our boarders including: Yarrow Valley Park, Hic – Bibi, Duxbury Woods & Ellerbeck. All home boarding dogs live in our home with us as part of the family. With over 25 years experience for caring for dogs, cats, horses and small farm animals, you can feel assured and have peace of mind when using Honeysuckle Pet Services. We are fully licensed by the local authority and are fully insured. We are also an approved home and dog walker for Walk On - Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service and Chorley Dog Walking. Good afternoon everyone and happy October 1st!

Below is our 'September Photo Pupdate' of our gorgeous boarders. September literally flew by in the blink of an eye! And this morning at 5.45am on the stable yard there was definitely an autumn chill in the air (although its warmed up lovely now). September saw one of our beautiful homebred Shire horses return to the show ring after a 3 year break and she made it a winning return taking Champion Heavy Horse. I've included a photo of her in this collection (proud breeder 😍). Our Home-grown pumpkins are coming along nicely ready for our Halloween Pawty at the end of this month. 🎃

☆HPS House Keeping☆

Our Spring/Summer 2027 diary opens towards the end of November this year. ✨️

Our opening hours for enquiries is Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm (ex bank holidays).

Our opening hours for pick up and drop off is between 9am and 6pm (pre - agreed time).

We have one space left for NYE this year. (This is the only night we charge double rate, all other BH's are at our std rate). 🎊

I will give notice of our Christmas period opening hours next month. They are a little different to previous years. 🎄🎅

Unofficial HPS Pupdate 😉 🐴🐎.

We still regularly get asked how baby Edgar is doing so we thought we'd do an Edgar Mouse Update:

And the update is...........Baby Edgar is HUGE!! My goodness for a yearling he is massive 💙.

We can't believe how much he has grown over the summer!

Mrs Doubtfire aka Uncle Sebastian is still Edgar's honorary nanny ❤️ and he has been doing a wonderful job with him 😉😅🙏🏼.

For those of you due to visit us in October, you will get to meet the not so little fella himself as he will be in from his summer pasture. Beware.........he loves to give kisses 💋!

Here we go again guys and girls..........polite reminders below (click on the link below - thank you) :

Time keeping is especially important to us. Our day needs to run like clockwork when caring for all these dogs and animals. Please be on time for drop off and pick up. If you're running late, please just let me know. Its not a problem but please keep me posted. If you're running late by a considerable amount of time I can be using that time to get many of our HPS responsibilities & tasks completed. Currently been sat here waiting 40 mins for a pick up with no communication. This will have an impact on the rest of our day 😌.

Apologies for the little grumble and rant but we are also having issues with payment being on time. We will be possibly need to look at updating our terms and conditions on this next year.

Good evening everyone,

It is with a broken heart & the deepest of sadness that we inform our followers & friends that one of our beautiful HPS pups has crossed the Rainbow Bridge 💔.

Patsy was known by so many of you and your dogs, and she had so many friends here at HPS here too, including Frank, Lily and Charlie. She was the most loving and happy little girl. Always the life and soul of the pawty! We will miss you so very much Patsy.

We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated for Patsy's family. We send them all our love at this very sad time.

RIP darling girl run free. 🌈. Our darling Isabel will be waiting for you in the golden meadow. Auntie Em, Uncle Phil, Zak, Hendrick, and everyone at HPS will never ever forget you, and we will love you always. ###xx

✨️✨️ June Pupdate Time ✨️✨️

Good afternoon everyone! ❤️

We hope you're all well and keeping cool in this heatwave, especially your fur babies. 😎

So here is our June photo pupdate! It is a little earlier than normal as we are now closed for our summer holibobs. We re-open at 8am on Wednesday 8th July. I will be in touch with those due to arrive upon re-opening later today to finalise all arrangements.

Before we head off to France 🇫🇷, I will be taking some time to reply to all the lovely messages regarding our beloved Isabel. My family and I have read all your kind comments, and we thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts. 💖

🐾💖 Eric 💖🐾

It is with a broken heart & the deepest of sadness that we inform our HPS family, friends & followers, that one of our OG's has crossed the Rainbow Bridge 💔. Eric was one of my very first dog walking clients and I have had the pleasure of knowing and caring for him for over a decade.

My family and I can't put into words just how much we will miss Eric. He has left a huge hole in all our hearts and we are absolutely heartbroken & devastated for Eric's mum. Sending you all our love Sue. I know your boy and our girl, Izzy will be having a ball in the golden meadow.

Good morning everyone!

Firstly I just want to say the biggest heartfelt thank you to you all for the lovely comments, messages, cards and flowers in memory of beautiful Isabel. Your kindness means the absolute world and has given us all so much comfort. 💖

So here is Auntie Em's first warm weather rant of the year 😅. Oh yes!!!...........I'm on my soap box again!.......... Only joking! But in all seriousness, the temperatures are set to rise this bank holiday weekend and into next week. It is so important to be careful in this warm weather as heat stroke can come on very quickly and can be fatal to our K9 family members. If needs be miss a walk! Remember to keep the house cool too.
