Last week we celebrated ONE WHOLE YEAR of Shear Perfection, and I’ve spent the last few days reflecting on just how incredible this journey has been.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your precious pups, for supporting my little business, for recommending me to your friends and family, for every like, share, kind word, and booking. Every single bit of support has meant the absolute world to me.

This past year has been full of unforgettable moments. We’ve shared so many wagging tails, happy barks, muddy paws, cuddles, and plenty of furry kisses. There have been days filled with so much love, laughter, and joy that I’ve gone home with the biggest smile on my face.

But, like life always does, this year has also brought some heartbreak. Together, we’ve said goodbye to some very special four-legged friends who crossed the rainbow bridge. Those moments have been incredibly emotional, and it’s been a privilege to have known and cared for them. They will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️🌈

Thankfully, we’ve also welcomed so many adorable new puppies and rescue babies into the Shear Perfection family. Watching them grow, building their confidence, and seeing their little personalities shine has been one of the greatest joys. My heart (and diary!) has become fuller with every wagging tail.

Running this business has been everything I dreamed of and more. It’s not just about grooming—it’s about building relationships, creating trust, and being part of your dogs’ lives. Every appointment reminds me why I took the leap to follow my passion.

To every single one of you—thank you for helping my dream grow. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for being such an amazing community.

Here’s to another year of making your pups look paw-fect, creating more fur-tastic memories, and keeping every tail wagging. I truly ruff what I do, and I couldn’t do it without you all.

I am forever grateful for each and every one of you and your wonderful dogs. Here’s to many more years of wagging tails, wet noses, happy hearts, and making every visit to Shear Perfection feel like home. 🐶❤️

☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER PAW-LEASE READ 🐾☀️

With the temperatures rising, I just wanted to ask all my lovely clients for a little help to keep our furry friends safe and comfortable. ❤️

🐶 If possible, please arrive on time for your appointment, or a little early if I’ve asked you to.

🐾 Once your dog is ready, I’d really appreciate prompt collection where possible. The salon can get quite warm, and I want all my four-legged customers to stay happy, cool, and comfortable.

🌡️ Please remember that hot weather can be hard on our pups, so try to keep walks to cooler parts of the day and make sure they have plenty of fresh water and shade.

📱 I may be a little slower than usual replying to messages regarding appointments while I’m busy grooming and making sure every pooch is feeling paw-fect in the heat. Please bear with me – I promise I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

Firstly, I’d like to apologise for being a little quiet recently. After a very busy couple of weeks and spending most of my time chasing my tail, I’ve finally managed to sit down and catch up on messages! 🐶✂️

Looking back at these gorgeous pups has reminded me just how lucky I am. I’m so incredibly thankful for the constant custom, loyalty, and support from all of my amazing clients — it truly never goes unnoticed. Every tail wag, happy face, and freshly groomed fluff ball means the world to me.
