Your friendly, independent pet supplies shop in the heart of Chorley, Lancashire — run by a real pet-loving family, for pet-loving people.
We’re Sarah & Neil (husband and wife team), alongside our daughter Florence, plus our own little animal crew: Willow, our beautiful collie (and inspiration for our new logo last year), Luna the cat, & Peggy We’ve been proudly helping local pets (and their humans!) since 2011, and we genuinely love getting to know every visitor who walks through the door.

🦔 Garden roll call... who has hedgehogs?

As the nights draw in, have you noticed any little snuffling visitors wandering around your garden after dark?

If hedgehogs are visiting, you can give them a helping hand by leaving out fresh water and a little meaty cat or dog food, and by providing quiet, sheltered areas such as leaves, logs and hedgehog houses.

Before clearing leaves, check underneath.
Before strimming long grass, check carefully.
Before lighting a bonfire, check for wildlife.
Pop out some fresh water.
If possible, make sure hedgehogs have a route between neighbouring gardens.

If you have any concerns our find a hedgehog out during the day, call Hedgehog rescue to seek the best advice

🥕 Maybe squeeze in a farm shop run
🪢 This week, paracord practice with Florence for her Scout session

💻 Admin, orders & scheduling posts
🍲 Tea and Countryfile together
💃 A bit of Strictly
🐕 More walkies, showers & bed!

Then suddenly it’s Monday and we do it all again. 😂

A huge thank you to everyone who’s popped in, stocked up and kept us on our toes this week!
Don’t forget, we’re closed tomorrow for a well-earned rest… although we’re not entirely sure we’ve figured out what “rest” actually means yet! 😂
We’ll be back open Monday, refreshed and ready to go.
