Just as a side note!

We are going to be offering pick up and drop off to any local loyal customers who can’t get to us at whittle. This will be at an extra cost and the dog must wear a harness to be safely transported. So if you are worried about getting to us because you currently walk to us, please contact me via text. Debi x

Moving Premises Update🍾

We are moving on 13th June to:🥳🔑

88 Watkin Road
Whittle-le-Woods
Chorley

We are still awaiting planning approval and the completion of building work on the new salon. In the meantime, we will be setting up our grooming facilities within the house.

What does this mean for your dog’s groom?

When you arrive, you will drop your dog off at the front door. We do also have an internal hallway to do this (like a reception area). From there, we have a separate internal area leading to the hallway, bathroom, and dedicated grooming room.

Your dog will be bathed in a professional dog bath before being groomed in the grooming room, just as they are now.

Once your dog is ready to go home, we will contact you. When you arrive, simply ring the doorbell and we will bring your dog out to you. If you would like to book your next appointment, we have a secure indoor area where we can arrange this with you.

Will anything else change?

No – our service and the care your dog receives will remain exactly the same.

This isn’t quite how we originally planned the move, but as many of you will know, house moves rarely go exactly to plan! Everything has happened very quickly, and we appreciate your patience while we get settled.

There may be some adjustments to appointment days and times as we adapt to working from home, but we will do our very best to minimise any disruption.

We can’t thank you enough for your continued support, loyalty, and understanding during what has been a somewhat stressful and unexpected transition.

We look forward to welcoming you and your dogs to our new premises.

Hi everyone 😊

Just a little reminder that payment for grooming appointments needs to be made either before collection by bacs or at collection by cash please.

Today we’ve had one customer not pay at all, another pay hours later, and we’re still waiting on another payment. We simply don’t have the time to chase payments, and to be honest, we don’t feel we should have to — it wouldn’t happen in shops or at the hairdressers 🤷🏼‍♀️

Unfortunately, it’s near impossible to get a signal at the salon, so we don’t have a card machine. Payments therefore need to be either:

* Cash at the salon, or
* BACS transfer BEFORE pick-up

Going forward, anyone not following this will unfortunately not be offered another appointment.
