Well… I guess I’m running the London Marathon 2027! 🥹🏃♀️🩰
I honestly can’t quite believe I’m writing that but what an absolute privilege and an honour it is to have been asked to run for Alice’s WonderDance Foundation.
I think so many of us will remember that day in July 2024. Southport touched the hearts of people everywhere, and I don’t think any of us will ever forget the beautiful little girls and the families at the heart of it all. 💗
Alice’s WonderDance was created in memory of beautiful Alice da Silva Aguiar. Her family have created something incredibly special in her name, keeping Alice’s love of dance, joy and inclusivity alive by helping other children experience the opportunities that dance can bring. 🩰💗
The foundation helps remove some of the barriers that can stop children from dancing, supporting things such as classes, uniforms, transport, exam fees and opportunities for young dancers.
Every mile I run and every penny I raise will help them continue their incredible work and keep Alice’s legacy dancing. ✨
26.2 miles is going to be one hell of a challenge, but I genuinely couldn’t think of a more special reason to do it.
