Dudley

15.3hh approx | 8yo | Coloured Cob Type Gelding

Dudley is a lovely coloured cob type gelding who has recently been slowly and sympathetically produced.

He is a lovely mover with expressive paces and a fantastic, trainable attitude. He has recently started working beautifully on the bridle and is really beginning to enjoy his work. He makes a lovely shape over a fence and is completely unfazed by fillers.

Dudley has been out and about to plenty of polework lessons, rallies and an unaffiliated showjumping competition, where he behaved brilliantly in the warm-up with other horses and then popped around a set of BS showjumps sweetly. He has competed at a couple dressage competitions now and got lovely comments from the judges and wasn’t phased by the white boards at all.

He hacks well alone and in company and is polite and sensible when cantering through open fields.

He is a genuinely kind and easy horse to have around. He is good to catch, barefoot trim, load, travel and clip.

Dudley would suit a competent rider looking to continue the education of a lovely, well-rounded young horse and take him into any discipline. He is, however, still green for his age and can be a little bit of a worrier. He needs a rider who can give him confidence and hold his hand when required, so he will not suit a novice or nervous rider.

A lovely horse with a huge amount of potential who is ready for someone to put their own stamp on him.

He would make a lovely event horse for someone keen to do things like the Cotswold cups, British showjumping or even some British dressage. Or just a really lovely riding club horse.

Dudley is on sales livery.

Two Cracking 3-Year-Old Cob Type Ponies

We have two lovely 3-year-old cob type ponies looking for knowledgeable homes to continue their education.

Standing at approximately 13.1hh, both have been carefully and sympathetically backed and are now happily walking and trotting around the lanes in company, taking everything in their stride.

They are kind, genuine youngsters with lovely temperaments and all the makings of fantastic Pony Club, riding club or all-round family ponies in the future. They have been given the best possible start, but as with any young horse, they are still green and will need confident, experienced homes to continue their training and help them reach their full potential.

If you’re looking for an unspoilt youngster to put your own stamp on, these two are well worth a viewing.

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… for the best reason possible — we welcomed baby Alfie into the world! 💙

Now that things are settling down, I’m excited to be getting back into the swing of things.

It’s been a busy few weeks behind the scenes, and I’m delighted to say that Mossie, Berry and Luna have all found their perfect new homes over the last 10 days. We can’t wait to follow their journeys and see what they get up to with their new owners. 🍀

With the yard back in full flow, we now have availability for:
🐴 Sales Livery
🐴 Backing
🐴 Schooling

If you’re considering selling your horse or would like to discuss any of our services, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support while I’ve been adjusting to life with Alfie — I’m looking forward to sharing more horses and updates with you all again! ✨

digger is a Smart and compact 16h 10 year old bay TB gelding. Fun little horse that has done a bit of everything since retiring from racing sound (has been bar fired as precaution when younger, has raced on it since with no issues) He has done rally’s, pole lesson and jump clinics with his 14yo rider. Been cross country schooling, showjumped at 80cm with decent scope and ability. Genuine happy chap that hacks alone and in company and been great in the busy traffic he has seen with us. Well behaved in open spaces. Has 3 good balanced paces but not done a lot of ‘flat work’. He’s super comfortable and a nice snaffle mouth ride. Would suit any job from hacking, riding club, fun rides, low level eventer. He’s super easy to do at home and great to shoe box clip catch. Digger is here on sales livery.

Draft pick. A outstanding example of a TB. Dark bay 16.2HH 12yo gelding. Dick has been retired from racing a while now and is completely retrained as a allrounder. He is beautifully schooled, moves and floats across the ground effortlessly. He has done multiple dressage competitions, showjumping competitions, rallies, pole lessons, cross country and hunter trails, beach rides and hunting. There isn’t anything he won’t do. Solid as a rock to hack alone or in company, been ridden down busy A roads, country lanes, big open fields and you can lead your child on their pony off of him! He is incredibly easy to do anything with, shoe box catch clip travel etc. His temperament is great and he really is one of the best put together TBs on the market. He is eligible for ROR classes and without a doubt would be hard to beat! He would suit anyone who is capable and experienced, he has been ridden lots by a 14yo girl. Would suit any type of home from hacking to hunting and everything inbetween. A real yard favourite. Dick is here on sales livery. He does windsuck, very mild and only at feed time. If this slightly puts you off, don’t enquire about him.

Freckles is a coloured Irish cob mare who stands at 13HH and is 8 years old. She is what I call a proper kids pony!! Safe sane and sensible that has been and done lots of things. She will teach your kid to actually ‘ride’ and not be a passenger. Freckles has been hopelessly outgrown and been in the same home since she was 4 years old. She is super scopey and makes a nice shape and is careful over showjumps. She has attended pole/jump rallies, fun rides, lessons and would make the most wonderful pony club pony. Hacks alone and in company and has been solid as a rock in the traffic she has seen with us. Great in open spaces. The type of pony that kids can deal with alone, get in from the field, tack up and go for a blast around the farm and she will look after them. I would say she is more of a second pony for a kid that wants to crack on and do something. Easy to do in every way, clip, catch, box, shoe etc. Can be sassy if another horse rams up her butt - understandably! Super fun pony and sadly now ready for a new adventure.
