This week we had a visit from the wonderful Chris at Chiltern Forge. He dropped off a few of his amazing pieces of art to us! 🩶

Firstly, we have the Cobra we’ve posted previously and that you can see Chris holding in the first photo. This is for our own personal collection.

We also have the absolutely incredible Octopus on display in the shop! He’s sat on our counter for you all to come and see 😍 Carl was obsessed with this piece the minute he saw it! So Chris has been extremely kind in letting us display him in store 🥰

And last but definitely not least, we have some of his wonderful snake keyrings! If you’d like one, drop us a message and we will put one aside for you! We have a limited number available so be quick! 🐍

These are all handcrafted by Chris in his local forge. I think you’ll all agree that he’s incredibly talented! He takes commission requests and regularly posts new pieces to his page so be sure to give him a follow.

Whilst he was in with us, Toni forced him to have a cuddle with Soleil, our Bali Yellow-Head Reticulated Python. As you can see by his face, he’s not a fan of snakes 😂

Full set ups are in store and ready to go! Those of you on our waiting list for these babies will be contacted tomorrow 💚

Please be aware that tortoises are, quite literally, a lifetime commitment. They have in-depth, specific needs, especially with their diet, that take dedication from their keeper. They’re well worth the work, though! They’re full of personality and they’re SO rewarding to keep.

We still have this beautiful pair of Cat Geckos in store.

These are a firm favourite for me. They are SO cool. They get their name due to their feline like appearance and behaviour. For example, they wrap their long, prehensile tails around themselves whilst sleeping like a cat would! 🥹😍
