🐾✂️ Meet Bubbles, the tiniest Shih Tzu! 🐶❤️ (Honestly, she’s about the size of a small guinea pig! 😂)

I’ve been grooming Bubbles for over 3 years, and she’s been a real lesson in patience, trust and perseverance.

Getting her to let me do her face has been a journey in itself! We’ve reached the point where she hardly wriggles or tries to bite my scissors anymore. ✂️🤦‍♀️ Is it perfect? No, and it probably never will be, but that’s not what it’s about. ❤️

I’ve never actually taken a photo of her before because she was always what I’d call “unfinished” 😂 But today I thought it was time to share her progress!

Clipping her nails used to be a battle, and Mum would have to wrap her in a towel. Now, she calmly lets me do them. Bath time was once like a full-on wrestling match, too! 🤣

And yes, she still hides when she sees me coming! 🙈😂 But although she’s not exactly delighted to see the Fairy Dog Mother arrive, she no longer puts up the almighty fight she once did!

It just goes to show that sometimes grooming isn’t about achieving the perfect finish. It’s about building trust, working at the dog’s pace and celebrating the little victories along the way. 🥰

Three years of patience, perseverance and tiny steps forward — and I’m so proud of this little girl. ❤️🐾
