RSPCA Sussex West Branch CIO RSPCA Sussex West Branch CIO is a separately registered charity and 1 of 164 branches that supports RSPCA All animals are to view on our website.

The centre provides care and assistance to abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. We act as a temporary refuge and provide the animals in our care with food, medication, socialisation and the love they require until we can find a new 'Forever Home'. If you are able to offer an animal a home, please browse our list of animals in desperate need of rehoming.

Noddy Fest is tomorrow! 🐶

We hope you have all been preparing for noddy fest like Billy has! He has been testing the course to make sure everything is up to standards. We hope to see you tomorrow for our dog show, ‘have a go’ agility and stalls 💖

We would like to say a huge thank you to Flora and Ella who raised £38.00 for our Centre! 🎉🥳

They have been busy making beautiful bracelets to sell and have kindly donated the proceeds to us.
Flora and Ella have also been busy helping to raise awareness of our big Noddy Fest day which takes place here at the centre on Saturday 5th September! 💖

All donations go towards looking after all the dogs and cats in our care and every penny makes a difference - Thank you! 🫶🏻

Come along to a fun day out to try our ‘have a go’ agiliy. Where you will get a chance to try out agility with your pooch. Not only is it a fun time, but our amazing staff can give you tips on how to go around our agility course. Only £3 per go 😁

Meet Yoda at Stubbington Ark RSPCA 🐶

Meet Yoda, the lovely gentle 5 year old Staffie. Yoda can be strong on the lead when he wants to greet a doggy friend, but generally walks very well. Yoda loves going for walks, playing fetch with a ball playing with his teddies 🧸

Yoda is a very friendly, affectionate boy who had been finding the kennels quite stressful, so he is now settled in a foster home. He loves a good massage/fuss and being around his trusted people. He would benefit from an owner experienced with large bully breeds although not essential. Yoda has recently started some medication to help with some resource guarding behaviours noticed in the foster home. This is currently being managed well and we are hoping once fully settled in a home with adopters who are prepared to follow our behaviour modification plan, this behaviour will continue to improve. We would advise he remains on this medication until fully settled in his new home 💖

Yoda will need to be the only dog in the home. Yoda would prefer a quieter home but could cope with occasional visiting older children

Our kittens are constantly looking for treats 🐱

Here at the centre treats are a great help for training. We use Dreamies, Licki licks and soups for enrichment for our cats and kittens. Having some food enrichment can relieve boredom for our cats, as well as being a yummy treat! 💖

Noddy Fest is approaching fast! 🥳🎉

Make sure to come along to our annual dog show: Noddy Fest. Why not enter your pooch into our dog show to see if you could win a prize? Or attempt our ‘have a go’ agility where you can try a new fun hobby with your dog? Or even browse the stalls to find yourself a good bargain? 🐶

All the money raised on the day goes back into our centre to help us rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need. Come alone and help support a good cause 😁

Meet Billy 🧡

Billy is a 1 year old Lurcher cross Belgian Shepherd a bundle of fun with a bright, eager mind. Billy already knows a variety of tricks and has a great foundation of skills to build on 💖

Billy can make dog friends, but he does lack some social manners, so he’ll need an owner who is happy to manage this and continue his training. Our behaviour team will provide ongoing post-adoption support to help him settle in and develop these skills further.

Billy will need plenty of both mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy and fulfilled. He can be a little unsure in new situations, such as navigating stairs or encountering busy traffic, but with patience and positive guidance, he’s learning to grow in confidence. He will require a home with a private, secure garden 🫶🏻

Time for a happy tail 🐱

Luna and Rocky (was Narla and Smudge) were with us for 8weeks before finding their forever homes! Now they are living their best lives and running around the house as though they own the place 🫶🏻

‘I’ve just had Rocky and Luna for 3 weeks now and they are getting on great at home. They’ve really settled in really well. They both love their cuddles and fuss. They love their food! The next step is letting them out tomorrow, which they are looking forwards too, they love sitting on the window sills’
