RSPCA Sussex West Branch CIO RSPCA Sussex West Branch CIO is a separately registered charity and 1 of 164 branches that supports RSPCA All animals are to view on our website.

The centre provides care and assistance to abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. We act as a temporary refuge and provide the animals in our care with food, medication, socialisation and the love they require until we can find a new 'Forever Home'. If you are able to offer an animal a home, please browse our list of animals in desperate need of rehoming.

Billy loves an offsite day! 💖

Billy has now been at the centre for 168 days and is still looking for his forever home. Sadly, Billy has spent time in rescue without attracting much interest, and we really don’t understand why! 🥹

Billy is a wonderful, sweet-natured Lurcher cross with a big personality and a brilliant mind. He’s playful, affectionate and loves learning, already knowing lots of tricks. Billy can make doggy friends, although he can be a little lacking in social manners, so he’ll need an owner who is happy to continue his training and manage his interactions. Our behaviour team will provide ongoing post-adoption support to help him settle and develop his skills 🫶🏻

Billy needs a private, secure garden and a dedicated family who will give him the time, training and enrichment he needs 🥰

Meet Tequila and Jäger this Adoptober 💖

These lovely kittens came into our care due to health concerns from neighbours. They were very under weight, covered in fleas and suffering from cat flu. After lots of love and care they are now ready for adoption! 💖

Tequila and Jäger are only 4 months old. They are now a very healthy weight with no more signs of cat flu. These playful kittens need a loving family to keep them occupied. Tequila and Jäger can live in a household with children but must be the only animals in the home 🫶🏻

Time for a Happy Tail 🐱

Molly, our golden oldie, has found her forever home! Molly has spent her time finding the most comfy places to sleep. We are so happy to see Molly in her new home 🥰

‘She is amazing! On her first night she slept on the end of my bed and has done ever since. She loves being brushed and shouts at me when it’s time for her food, which is hilarious’

Meet Artemis 💖

Artemis is a golden oldie and came into us due to her owner passing away. She is a super sweet girl who is looking for a quiet loving home to live out her older years. She loves spending time with people so would suit someone who can be around a lot of the day 🥰

Artemis does have a thyroid condition which will require ongoing medication but this can easily be administered to her in a small amount of food. She is a foodie girl that loves a nice treat 🫶🏻

Due to Artemis’s age, we would love for her to go to an adult only home with no other animals

Meet Gary at Holbrook Animal Rescue 💖

A classic 1 year old Bengal boy with plenty to say for himself. He's playful and active, but also enjoys a long cuddle in the evening. He loves his toys and is content to play by himself, but also loves interactive games with his humans. He'll happily bring you something from his toy box to encourage you to play too! 🥰

Currently an indoor cat, but would benefit from catio or safe space to play outside. He can appear confident and robust, but he is actually quite sensitive to change. He thrives in his foster home, which is a quiet, adult only home with people home the majority of the time 🫶🏻

Gary will need an adult only home with no other animals

Billy is a wonderful, sweet-natured Lurcher cross with a big personality and a brilliant mind. He’s playful, affectionate and loves learning, already knowing lots of tricks. He would be a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys training, enrichment and keeping an active dog busy 💖

Billy can make doggy friends, although he can be a little lacking in social manners, so he’ll need an owner who is happy to continue his training and manage his interactions. Our behaviour team will provide ongoing post-adoption support to help him settle and develop his skills🐶

As a Lurcher x Belgian Shepherd, Billy needs plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation. He can be unsure of new experiences, such as stairs and busy traffic, but with patience and positive guidance, his confidence is growing🫶🏻

By opening your home and your heart to a rescued animal, it dramatically improves their welfare and quality of life, allowing them to wait for their forever home in a more comfortable, calm, and familiar environment 💖
