Towels and Sheets Needed 💚

Over the past few weeks, we've been dealing with a bout of flu amongst some of the cats in our care. The good news is that everyone is on the mend and things are finally starting to return to normal. ❤️

However, caring for poorly cats means we've gone through far more towels and sheets than we normally would, and our stocks are now running very low.

With over 110 cats currently in our care, we get through a huge amount of bedding every day and would be incredibly grateful for any donations of towels and bed sheets (no duvets or pillows please).

Donations can be dropped off directly at The Centre in Sidlesham, which is our preferred drop-off location. Alternatively, donations can be left at any of our charity shops, please just label them "For The Centre" so they make their way to the animals🐱

As always, thank you for your continued support. Donations like these make such a difference and help us provide comfort and care to every cat that comes through our doors 😘

Little Ruby is still not home 😟 She is a nervous indoor cat who managed to get out and her family are worried sick. Please please check your outbuildings and garages in that area, she’s probably hiding in terror. 😥

We are excited to announce that our next Cat Viewing Day will be taking place on Saturday, 23rd May at The Centre in Sidlesham! 🐾

If you have been thinking about adopting a cat, this is the perfect opportunity to come along, meet some of our wonderful cats and chat to our knowledgeable team about finding the right match for your home.

📍 No appointment needed
🕛 Drop in anytime between 12pm – 2:30pm

Please note that cats cannot be taken home on the day, but they can be reserved subject to a successful virtual or in-person home visit 🏠

Our viewing days can get very busy, so if you would prefer not to wait, you can also complete an adoption form through our website. Once your home visit has been completed, you will then be able to book an appointment to meet the cats 😍

He’s 4 years old but quite small build. We have only had him 2 weeks but he got out on Sunday and he’s not been back since.

Can anyone help Diane discover where Mabel has relocated to?

Does anyone recognise this little puss? Her name is Mabel. Her owner Diane would like to find out where she has been living for the past year or so, and to make sure she actually is ok. 🐈

Hi could you please post this for me? About 18 months ago my tabby cat Mabel disappeared soon after Stanley my rescue dog arrived. Initially I didnt see her for months, you may remember my posts to look out for her? Well, since then she keeps turning up in my garden every so often. I will hear her cry and can coax her to come and eat. She seems starving, so eats and eats then disappears again ! Sometimes she hangs around for 2-3 days then I dont see her again for months. She looks well although has lost weight.
I just want to know who is feeding/looking after her and why she every so often comes home. I feel awful and so sorry for her. Have attached a pic. She comes from the direction of the estate along the edge of the Oval. I live in Canadian Cres and back onto the green. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cat Viewing Day - Saturday 21st March 💚

Our next viewing day at The Centre will be on Saturday 21st March, from 12.00 pm–2.30 pm. No appointment is needed; just pop in during the open hours to meet the cats currently looking for their forever homes 😍

This gorgeous pair are Saffy and Chloe, two adorable cats hoping this will be the day they meet their forever family. Take a look at our website to see some of the cats available, with more becoming ready for adoption closer to the day 😘

The viewing day is aimed at people who are considering adopting, and please be aware that if you reserve a cat, we ask that they are collected within one week. Cats cannot be taken home on the day, but they can be reserved, subject to a virtual or in-person home check. If you have already completed your home visit, you can make an appointment to view or reserve cats 7 days a week.
