Observation is a key part of treating. From facial expressions, body swaying to the movement of the muzzle. The gorgeous, yet cheeky Jacko today was clearly communicating where he was feeling his tension but also release. His muzzle “chatter” followed by licking, chewing and a good old yawn let us know that he was feeling much better during his session which was booked after having a rotation fall.

A small snapshot of Tuesday. Out and about in the New Forest/ Bournemouth region. We love being a multi modality practice, no day is ever the same but for Helen today she did get to see some lovely native New Forest Ponies enjoying their habitat. Always amazing how the ponies are fine with the pigs at pannage time, yet ask a ridden horse to go past pigs and you take your life in your hands!
