Updated May COVID-19 Announcement
This update reflects the government's advice on emerging from lockdown and phasing in a return to work. From Monday NAVP members my begin to phase in more of our cases provided we continue to follow professional guidelines.

At the heart of our change in work practice has been to protect public health, and as a profession which believes in welfare, compassion, and an understanding of the effects of emotional and physical suffering, NAVP members have stepped up to the mark and shown themselves to be part of the solution instead of the problem.

Government and professional guidelines reiterate that there will not be a return to work as we knew it before the lockdown, and that it is a gradual phased return during which we must be aware of a possible second wave which would lead to more unnecessary deaths.
