Hey guys just an update, I made this page just to have a business page for you guys to come to and not get utterly confused whilst Emma is on Mat leave, if you’d like to see my work over the years i run Hardwick's Grooming in Bulwell which is now being ran by my amazing staff
All your appointments and the pricing with Emma at dapper dogs will remain the same and be at the same place, until her return where I will had you all back over to her amazing salon!

Having over 17 years experience, allows me to give you the best services possible and suggest some ways to keep your pets cool and protected during the summer months and warm and easy to manage in the winter months,
I offer various groom add ons such as mud baths that can help the skin to be less angry looking , flaky and sore for dogs with skin issues.
A shedding mud to help de-shed those who are constantly shedding
A conditioning mud for coats that need a pep up and it gives a really good shine.
I will be putting up informational posts about these soon if you’d like to try it out I’m offering this service for £5 on top of your usual groom price for small to medium breeds and £10 for large to Giant breeds

Hey Guys,
So I thought I’d just pop a post up about me, I’m Laura, I’ve been in the grooming industry for over 17 years, I’m level 3 city and guilds certified and insured, and I am constantly learning new skills, I am truly dedicated to the dogs, pushing welfare as the first priority!

I have two staffies and two golden retrievers however I’ve owned Alaskan Malamutes, which I have shown to crufts level, worked to championship level and bred two of my own litters in the 16 years of owning them.

I started off in veterinary nursing but moved into grooming when I just could stand the heart ache of loosing pets most days.

For the last 6 years I have been managing and running my own salon based in Nottingham, but stepped away to have a baby back in October, bringing my beautiful family our second boy.

since being on maternity leave my salon has thrived with the dedicated groomers I took on and therefore I decided to venture into my next chapter with moving to chesterfield to be closer to family.

I will be covering Emma’s maternity leave from June at Dapper Dogs until her return, I look forward to meeting you all and keeping Emma’s standards of excellence to your beautiful doggos!
