Getting a dog trainer is really an investment in both you and your dog, and the more we work together, the better things will go!

Here are my top tips to help you get the most out of your training sessions:

✅ Be honest. Don’t worry about sugar-coating what’s going on at home. Whether your puppy is chewing everything in sight or your dog is barking at every passer-by, just be open with me so I can build the right plan for you.

❓ Ask away. There are no silly questions! If you’re not sure why we’re doing something or you want me to explain it differently, just ask.

🏡 Practice between sessions. Consistency really is what makes the difference. Even 5–10 minutes a day can go a long way.

🐕 Celebrate the small wins. Every bit of progress matters. Training is a journey, not a race.

💬 Stay in touch. If something’s tricky or not working, let me know. We can always tweak things to suit you and your dog.

❤️ Trust the process. Every dog learns at their own pace. Patience, kindness, and consistency will always beat quick fixes.

Give your puppy the best possible start with our brand-new 6-week puppy course, led by professional and experienced trainers – Jo & Becky (Jo’s Pet Services & Fur, Paws and Fun).

Suitable for puppies aged 12–24 weeks, these small, friendly classes are designed to help your puppy build confidence while learning essential life skills using kind and effective, positive methods.

• Location: Worksop (outdoor venue)
• Start date: AUGUST, evening and weekend dates available
• £84 for the full 6-week course (that’s just £14 per lesson with the added benefit of 2 experienced trainers)

Whether you're welcoming your first puppy or simply want to build great foundations, these classes will help you and your puppy enjoy learning together.
