I posted recently that we were now the proud owners of a Companion Class IV Laser treatment with which is available to both our current hydrotherapy clients and any owners simply wanting their pet to benefit from this highly effective treatment.

I feel that most pet owners have no idea how beneficial laser therapy can be and how many conditions it is already being used to help.

As most of you know I sell dog treats from JR Pet Products Ltd because I truly believe they are the best treats for dogs. My last post was about hypoallergenic treats available from JR. Today I want to show you another amazing feature of these treats.

I recently had someone come in looking for hypoallergenic treats for their dog. And while I knew we definitely sold some, I wasn't exactly sure what hypoallergenic treats meant. So I did some research.

Hypoallergenic treats are made without some of the most common allergens - dairy, wheat, beef, lamb, chicken, eggs, soy, gluten, corn.

MYTH: A little extra weight on my dog isn’t a big deal.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone about animals in this heat. Like most of us, our pets are not really used to this warm weather so it can catch us, and them unaware.

MYTH: Dogs with arthritis will always cry or limp if they’re in pain.

✅ Fact:
Many dogs with arthritis don’t cry out or limp, and that can be misleading.
Instead, they often show much subtler signs of pain, like hesitating to go for walks, struggling to get up after resting, avoiding stairs, or simply seeming "not themselves."

You might notice they’re less playful, more withdrawn, or sleeping more than usual. These changes are easy to dismiss as “just getting older,” but they’re often quiet signals that your dog is in pain and needs help.

Recognising these signs early is key to improving their comfort and quality of life.
